I really like Josh Homme's bass playing. First QOTSA album and more recently Mantra on the Sound City album. Krist Novoselic is class.

Can you run amplitube and play a song on the iOS music player at the same time? If so this will easily help with practice.

Surely if you're really into pedals etc it's worth just buying a secondhand weller soldering iron and some heat shrink to so it yourself. It's really easy.

I've just looked at the price of the Troy Sanders Jag and I can't believe how much it is for a MIM. Are the original series still made in Japan?

A friend of mine had a Peterson. He said as accurate as it is it's build isn't great and it's not simplistic enough for the stage. What's the mini TC Polytune like?

I haven't bought one for nearly 10 years so I'm out of the loop. I'm looking at build and obviously accuracy plus ease of reading on stage in daylight and darkness.

My favourite 8x10 was the Marshall VBA but I'd modded the inside because the back panel was vibrating against the baffles as each 2x10 is separated. They are heavy but it sounded better than ampeg, ashdown etc.
