9.
And in all honesty - as far as guitars go - sod Marshall. It's all about Framus.
i'd go for VHT but the framus stuff is sweet.
 10.
I think a lot of it stems from the fact that Marshall have never properly addressed themselves to our end of the market. They just don't seem to take it seriously, compared with all the effort they put into their core guitar market. Not enough thought, not enough R+D effort, not enough interest in what bass players want. It's a real shame.
i strongly agree here. i think if they sorted it out they could be a leading allvalve bass amp maker in the UK. scrap the VBA400 it looks too much like a guitar head and make something beasty looking 300 watts 2 channels one for OD with seperate EQs and make a rack version aswell. there's not enough rackable all valve heads out there imo. oh yeah, i have the VBC 8x10 i think the build quality is average but it sounds mint. better than any ampeg i've gone through. i did mod it however because the back panel was moving when i played at volume so i reinforced it and its sweet. i do need new wheels however.
 11. i've found one for sale new in the UK if anyone wants one http://www.dv247.com/invt/35456/
 12. just realised i forgot to put down jaguar bass in SB and i'd like the fretboard to be maple and black blocks. aero jazz pup in it aswell.
 13.
I want a big gig rig, not sure what yet, and I want Lakland to make a 5 string P bass.
a sunn 300t is what you want

 15. i'd like to try the precision elite with the 2 p pups. anyway i'd go for a 70's beat up SB brownshell scratchplate maple fretboard p-bass
 16.
the muff has 2 extra tone toggle controls, which makes it range from an overdrive to a fuzz, has a super bright blue led, and a 9v power supply.
got any info on the muff mods?

 18.
What is "too expensive"? I have had good results from the Seymour Duncan SMB-4A. http://www.thomann.de/gb/seymour_duncan_sm...ebasspickup.htm £70-80 new, I snagged one on evilBay for £45 delivered.
i was thinking of that, can it run passive?
 19. i want to put a musicman style pickup in at the bridge position. to start i want a passive one. can anyone recomend a pup that isn't too expensive.
 20. basically i had an aphex 661 and ebayed it. when i sent it it was working perfect. a week after i sent it the guy complains that its not working etc. so i recieved it back and all the pots were jammed and grinding and there's just white noise coming from it. is it worth fixing and where could i get it done? i'm based in south wales but i don't mind sending it to be repaired. info here http://www.aphex.com/661.htm
