nicky rarely used a Ric live. early on he used a TBird a lot then P Basses. P bass and James did the bass. i remember Nicky saying he only played the Ric and Thunderbirds live because they look cool. although he did use a white P bass for a lot of THB tour. you can hear the difference in bass playing on the records. the later stuff is Nicky. THB is one of my all time favourites. also that bass Nicky uses now is horrible

here's my trust old MIJ 86/87. i swapped a jazz for it with OBBM about 6 years ago. will never sell. since i got it i added the EMG and took out the controls. wish i had a real camera.

here's my current amp, it's the JCM800 i had before but modded by a friend so i have a master volume and clean/OD channels. the clean is voiced more for my bass. i use it for my guitar as well. it's a monster.
