1. Just bought this off Dannybuoy on here. selling for what I paid. Fully working and an amazing pedal. postage included. comes with box and the usual stuff inside. has velcro on the bottom.
2. I've been looking at them and they look awesome fair play. I'm really into this finish.
3. My motto is WWRD (What Would the Ramones Do?).
4. I've got to say I quite like the new Sandberg shapes. I'm normally quite traditional when it comes to P-bass shapes but this reminds me a little of the Ibanez ATK I once had. Has anyone tried one yet? http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Sandberg_II_VM4_Orange_2.html
5.
You can get a good JV Squier Precision for around £6 -700 ish , that would be my choice .
Buying a collectors bass goes against my original post.
6. I guess if I should re-word the question. Suggestion of P type basses around the new price of USA Fenders and Lakland Skyline (£1k?) and also a brand with a good QC consistency. So not necessarily the absolute best but still very good.
7.
Maruszczyk do something similar for about £650...
They are pretty sweet!
8. Both those basses are awesome. I remember wanting that anniversary Fender P when it was released.
9. It's looking like that's my plan. Are the newer rectangle cases they come with good? I'll probably put an EMG in any Pbass I get. I like how consistent they sound. I'm not one to be totally precious with my basses but with my old one I am getting that way. It has plenty of scars but I just want to minimise the chance of losing it. Thanks for all the comments.
10. I want to try one of these!
11. My dad has a Yamaha and it's fantastic. Something to consider. I have to say I'm tempted to go for a used USA P. They seem reasonably priced.
12.
I now realise that I should never have let that Precision go.
It is the best one I've ever played. There's something about the neck and it sounds amazing. Chris I'm a guitar tech and I've seen PRS guitars come back off a tour in Oz with split headstocks and the bassists Warwick had a huge gauge down the back. That's mainly because they were in old Scott Dixon cases and handlers just chuck things around. Also whilst on a load out I've had to run after someone who decided to pickup a £3k Framus and run.
13. I've been out of the loop for a while but now I'm back playing bass in a band that is going to tour etc. I have an amazing Japanese Fender P but it'll be 30 next year and to me it's irreplaceable. So I'm looking for something that is a great bass but is easily replaced if it gets stolen, broken etc. Are USA Fender still on top of their game? Lakland Skyline?
14. Hopefully I'll see you all there!
15. Boom!
16. I thought you'd like that. It's the mind it goes into etc.
17.
Was that an evilbay purchase - as think I had my eye on that. Congrats, as Discreet says, same amp as the SVT350H/450H, in a rackable unit. Nice sounding amp, have used one and was very impressed.
I think it was on evilbay but I saw it on my local gear exchange FB page. Guy had the head up for £250 then dropped to £150 and offered the cab for £50! I couldn't refuse. It sounds awesome on its own and it's a monster with my Catalinbread SFT and my Swollen Pickle.
18. for £200!! what a bargain.
19. awesome. nice board there dude. Those new PT are great, i have one in my tech box when I'm out on tour. Loads brighter.
20. I've got a small board and don't really want a preamp as I'll be using my SFT as one. What D.Is are recommended that would fit on my board?
21. Cheers for the feedback. I was about to order 50 because a friend wants me to rewire his big board on a fair budget. 50 of those worked out at about £75 and 50 switchcraft worked out at £170
22. No my rig but the bassist I tech for. Taken at download this year. Warwick Jonas Hellborg amps and cabs.

Velcro or ?

http://duallockpedalboard.com I'm buying a kit for my Metro 16
24. Similar question here, has anyone run a fuzz (swollen pickle) into a preamp/D.I pedal (MXR M80). Does it work?
25. I've just bought a Pedaltrain Metro 16 and Volto. I soldered up some patch cables with the standard Neutrik right angled jack but they just look massive on my small board. Any suggestions for other types/brands?
