1. Buy a Peli case copy with pull out handles and wheels. Excellent for leads, strings etc as well as your board.

Fender PJs

Hahaha excellent pyjama comments! Bass wise, I'm tempted to find a 60's RI P neck and route a p pickup in my MIJ Jazz bass.
Does a p neck really sound different to a j on the same bass ?
I think so. For example, where the strings pass over the pickup on a P, the spacing would be slightly less between the strings with a J neck. And also more/less wood changes tone IMO

Fender PJs

Fair enough. I think ideally I want a PJ with P neck and EMG pickups with no preamp. So ideally I don't want to buy a bass for £1k just to change it up. Maybe just make a bitsa.

Is that the new USA Elite?

Everytime I see one it has a Jazz neck. Why? I like a PJ but I also really love the P neck way more than a Jazz. Not just for the feel but also the tone. There should just be an option.
9. Good stuff. Think I'll be ordering two Gotoh bridges then.
10. £30 seems really good for a Gotoh 201b http://www.axesrus.co.uk/Gotoh-201B-4-Bass-Bridge-p/201b-4.htm
11. You could put the GT6B on a pedalboard and buy the proper Boss PSU. Have both fixed down on the board along with a mains extention and use that to plug into the venue's power supply. Same with the DMX. If it's rackable. You could get something like this.
12. Armourdillo case holds Fender style basses. Has a big internal compartment. It does have scuffs etc but it's a case. £30 Warwick Rockbag also fits Fender style basses as well as Warwicks obviously. Great gig bag, large front pocket. Has wear as it's about ten years old. I've not really gigged it for about four of those ten. £20 I work in Cardiff and live in Chepstow so could deliver/meet at either or in between. Will post at buyers expense.
13. How do these compare to MiM Febder Ps? Worth a shot? http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Sandberg_ELECTRA_Vs_Black_files/ElectraVsFront.jpg

1986 MIJ with a an EMG and a Badass (needs new saddles). My number one. Love this bass so much.
15. Is it worth going for the 18V over the 9V?
16. I'm out of the loop here. Any suggestions? So J shaped P for the neck and trad J for the bridge sets
17. My dream bass. Sadly no funds atm. 😞
18. Was the tone way too bright?

Pitch Up pedals

So there's the Digitech drop that'll move your pitch down but are there any that move it up?
20. I'm not sure if I'd bother selling separately if I'm honest.
21. Chrome Jazz bass bridge and neck pickup covers. Not Fender branded. Price includes postage. Open to trades. Nothing specific that I can think of. Maybe a P-bass bridge cover.
22. I've been teching a bassist using this stuff for a year and it's phenomenal. Someone grab this bargain.
23. Standard Boss style 9V adaptor. Should say in the manual. Great compressor.
24. The Warwick Jonas Hellborg power amp goes to two. Ampeg SVT, Marshall VBA and Sunn 300T do and probably the Fender Super Bassman.
