1. Sold a pickup to Simon. Paid very quickly. Pleasure to deal with.
2. Well I went for mini bass crybaby. I only have a metro 16 board. Also bought an MXR bass chorus.
3. I've just picked this up in a deal but I'm not a Jazz Bass man. It sounds and plays great. Has original electronics. The pickguard isn't original however. It does have damage to the finish. As shown on the photo and it is road worn so to speak (genuine not simulated). Serial number starts with G so 87/88. Comes with a Rockbag. PM for more pictures. Prefer collection (Chepstow).
4.
Okay, i thought it was their multiFX, shows how much i know about korg gear… and my digital effects (other than bitcrushers, which are basically just ADDA converters) range from 450ma to 1200ma.
Just out of curiosity, what digital pedals do you have that pull that much power? I can't think of anything that would pull that much apart from maybe a Line 6 Helix and Boss ES8. Even the big Strymons only pull 300ma tops.
5. It's in good condition and comes with its box. Price includes postage. Will grab a photo tomorrow.
6. I just watch a you tube vid with the dude who made the crybaby bass Wah and he said it's basically the MXR envelope filter with a manual expression.
7. If you can power something with a 9V battery it doesn't pull 600ma. More like 60ma
8. What would you go for and why?
Wow, that's an interesting one. Plenty of meaty crunch to the sound.
I really like that it can do the OTT fuzz thing then flick the half gain and get more of a distortion and then roll the splutter back for gated madness. Then the octaver is the cherry on top.
10.
600ma isn't over the top for a digital pedal. I would suggest getting a 1spot, a gigrig isolator, and a daisy chain. Use the daisy chain to connect the isolator and the korg, then plug the rest into the isolator. That way you have alot of room for expansion.
600ma is over the top for a tuner. Most digital pedals run at about 400ma? Could get a voodoo lab 4x4. Or maybe a CIOKS DC8?
So very tempted to pick one of these up
It's crazy. I'm well into it. Here's a little Instagram vid I've done. https://instagram.com/p/BI0GVQ4ANYi/
12. Hipshot have just sent me their retrofit KickAss saddles so I'll put these up for sale. The E saddle's height adjustment screw is seized but all the others have been replaced with stainless steel screws. Free postage
13. Ordered this on a bit of a whim. Was buying a bass off Gumtree. Dude was shipping it in just a fender gigbag. So I bailed on that one. I was feeling sad about it all and wanted to make lots of noise so I ordered this off Thomann on Wednesday evening. Super fast free delivery! I'll be giving it a blast later today.
14.
Great choice!
Thanks. I've decided to go for the world record of highest cost per square inch of pedalboard. I've only got a PT Metro 16! It'll have the Zeus, Ultra, Super Sym, Voodoo Lab ISO5 and TC PT and Chorus which will be swapped for the MXR at some point. Maybe upgrade to a Metro 20 and put a mini bass Wah on.
