  1. PM replied to, thank you yeah it's a fair price for such a quality case. I've had a single m80 for nearly ten years and it's still going, it's good quality gear.
  2. Item has now sold Hello I am selling this fine case, which is in good condition, I'm selling it purely as I just don't find myself using it. I got it new around four years ago, some signs of wear but all straps etc are all in full working condition and look clean. There is one slight hole/ tear in the fabric that I can see, it's in the photos if you follow the google link below. These cost over £250 new so I believe this price to be reasonable, as it really has had light use. Postage not included, I don't have anything to put it in/ wrap it in but would consider it if nobody local wants it. Location - Somerset/ Bristol area. Happy to meet somewhere along the m5 between Bristol, as far down as the a30 from Exeter. More photos here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/kTuAwx8rh9EepQFo7 Price - £120 collected. Thanks for looking.
  3. **Withdrawn from sale** Hello I am selling my tone hammer pedal, been used a bit but always kept on a pedal board, which was flight cased so it's in good condition. Selling as I don't use it much any more, besides as a boost/drive pedal, which it does very well, however it's just not needed at the moment. Comes with the original box, no paper work though if there was any, I can't remember! Please note, this pedal runs on 18 volts. Thought it was worth mentioning, as I actually changed my power supply to accommodate this. Pretty sure it can run off phantom via the DI too. Photos here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/D8asKZtfzdHWUDi17 Looking for £150, plus postage. No trades. Thanks for looking.
  4. I had a moment like yours with a satin 4 string when i visited the factory this time last year. I couldn't afford it at the time, still can't sadly, but one day I'll have to go back and get one!
  5. Yeah I'm talking about the black 70's one with blocks. Looks like they won't be around much longer! If you don't mind me asking, where is that sonic blue one you mentioned in a shop in Glasgow?
  6. Ah that's a shame, I'm sure they'll be excellent for the money but I'll try and get an older second hand cv, the 70's ones go for around 200 second-hand.
  7. This is great, and thanks for the heads up. I'm very tempted to get one of the 60's precisions. It's cheaper to buy a new one than buy one of the older ones second hand! There's one on gumtree currently that was tempting me, but it's £490!
  8. I thought it was great, looking forward to episode 3!
  9. I ordered something online from PMT yesterday afternoon (friday) before 3pm, and paid extra to have it delivered today (Saturday) Having not heard anything from the courier I chased up PMT this morning and was told it was an error and they don't have one in stock anywhere, so the chap whilst on the phone to me ordered one from their supplier. I have to wait until Monday for an eta as presumably the supplier is closed. Not happy, particularly when I have had to chase them up over the phone. I feel stupid for not calling them yesterday to check, but I shouldn't have to second guess what they tell me on the website!
  10. I currently just have two basses, and I get by fine playing with a mixture of different bands live. If I recorded more I would like a few others I think, to offer some variety in terms of sound, precision basses with different strings etc. Currently I have a precision with flats and a 5 string active lakland.
  11. Yeah I spotted this, it is very tempting... bad timing though, tax bill!
  12. Best bass purchase - Lakland skyline 55-02. It''s the first bass I've bought in a few years, and it's really wonderful. Superb build quality, really lightweight and has a great sound, it sits really well in the mix for everything I've used it for so far. Very happy with it and it's making me consider getting a skyline precision now of some sort too... Worst bass Purchase - Haven't actually bought anything else in a while, and definitely not something that I wasn't pleased with. Possibly a set of TI flats, which to be honest I didn't dislike them, liked the feel of them but in the end just decided I preferred the La Bellas that I already had. Here's a photo of the beauty, took the day I got it back in April.
  13. Just completed a transaction with this gentleman, can't praise him enough. Excellent and quick communication throughout, as well as extremely fast payment. Would highly recommend as someone to deal confidently with.
  14. Yep wish I'd known about this as well!
  15. I never use an amp at home, haven't for years. I use garage band sometimes, mostly though i just use direct monitoring from my interface, sometimes with one of my preamp pedals and it sounds good to me. My headphones were relatively cheap too, dont need to spend much. My MacBook was the most expensive part, and that's not essential unless you want garageband.
  16. Really enjoyed looking through these, great for getting some inspiration. I'm afraid mine isn't particularly inspirational, I only have one modulation type effect, the oc-2 and that doesn't get much use. I use the Sansamp at the end, to send to FOH, and the Tonehammer I currently use as a boost, utilising the AGS circuit. Pretty simple, and for the small number of gigs I have to fly to, I usually take just the Sansamp and the tuner. If I'm not in the van I have a small gig bag for this board, hence the slightly questionable packing towels!
  17. Cool looking bass, yeah I've spent a fair amount of time searching the web for a goya thanks to those 2 dudes!
  18. Boss CS-3 compression sustainer pedal for sale £35 posted, £30 if you wanna pick it up from Somerset/ Bristol area, happy to meet somewhere round the m5 in this area. All tested and working as it should, it's a good piece of gear for the money, I've got something different that I use so this is surplus to requirements, plugged it in today to check it works ok, hasn't been used on my board for over 5 years. Comes in half the original box, just the bottom half! Photos here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/g2dHQ7xzd9gmcQZVA Postage included for £35 Thanks for looking.
  19. Now sold. EBS IQ envelope filter pedal for sale, comes in an incorrect box (box is for an octabass that is beyond repair) £70 posted, £65 if you wish to pick it up round the Somerset/ Bristol area ( I'm in Bristol at least once a week.) All tested and works as it should, sounds great but I don't play car wash anymore and it's just taking up space. I hadn't plugged it in for over 2 years until today. Photos here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/VU5mMDPgwbc6JCfj7 Postage included for £70 Thanks for looking.
  20. Sold Pending the usual Having a clear out, this has been on my list of things to go for years. Only ever used once, it's just a bit overkill for my needs, that and the fact that I no longer tour with a jazz bass! It's pretty good condition, inside looks brand new. There are some signs of age on the corners, some slight rust which I have photographed. Location - Somerset/ Bristol area. I'm always in between and happy to meet anywhere around Bristol and down the m5, just ask. Pickup preferred - If someone really wants this posted I am open to it, but it's pretty heavy and I have no box so I'd just wrap it whatever I can find. Buyer would need to arrange this themselves. These are £175 new I just checked so this seems a fair price for something that's left the house once on a 3 day trip, 5 years ago! Photos - https://photos.app.goo.gl/Z5W9kZTdwVKdJJDG9
  21. Yes I believe so, it's a 2008 build according to the serial number. It is a gorgeous finish I agree, thank you
  22. ***This has now sold.*** Hello there I am selling this lovely precision bass, 100% original to the best of my knowledge, I swapped the pup out for a 62 custom a year or so back, but have reinstalled the original for the purpose of sale. I could include the 62 pup for a bit extra if you are interested. The only exception in terms of originality is the case, I do not have the original case any more. It was a bit too battered after literally one trip in the cargo hold! ***Now includes a (road worn) Hiscox hard case*** The bass does have some marks which I have tried my best to capture, I'm not too sure but it appears to be the lacquer possibly from extreme temperature change..? I'm sure someone here would have a better idea. It's hard to see, there's faint lines on the back and front, which can be felt, though they are very fine. Not something that can be seen in the daylight but still, I have priced accordingly in my opinion. There's also a small mark on the headstock in the usual area, again I have tried to photograph this. Reduced - £700 £675 £625 PICKUP ONLY, happy to drive a fair distance to deliver/ meet buyer. LOCATION - The bass is in Somerset, I can meet around there, or around the Bristol area at reasonably short notice. More photos here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/bLKZ6KooiQMhUR6Z7 Thanks for looking.
  23. That is a lovely looking bass, hope it goes to a good home. I have an early 70's maple board precision, really fantastic sounding instrument.
