Tonight, buzzing!

Haha, some brilliant ones here. I've seen the drum kit move before, one time of which I stopped it; the other time I just mouthed "cost you" and "tenner" at him, before shrugging and moving on. Haven't yet spat a crown out; but there's time yet...

Sex Is On Fire. -
I make mistakes every gig. It's a trade-off - if I was to stand still at stage left, I'd be note perfect; but where's the fun in that? So, the odd dropped note, but it's all rock and roll.

By the power of all that is holy, sell this man the Roadster!
Now I know that we are generally not talking big bucks, and I seem to be finding difficulties, but that's tax for you
It's quite... Taxing?

I had this once, but then I moved to Bermuda and it went away.
I have a twin Mono bag - thoat sounds stupid but you know what I mean. Got it a while back to make transporting the L2500's easier (than the two hard cases). Got to say I'm really pleased with it, and I now tend to mix & match which two basses I want at the gig.
I've now joined you in being the chuffed owner of a dual Mono gig bag - the M80! The quality is absolutely superb, throughout the entire product. It's not over-big, and yet feels like it has protection and storage to spare. I feel like a wally now for contemplating something else. Brilliant product And two basses... why I thought this was indulgent, I'll never know. At the very least I'll never be caught out like a twat if I have an issue playing live, and at the most I'll have some options if I want different instruments to mix things up. Recommended
play drums
Lol, get out! Did I say band? Band, band, band and band.

I'm much less organised - perhaps unsurprising for a boy! But, I tend to have a guitar in either the dining room or the living room - so I find myself almost continuously noodling, trying out new things. Twice a week I'll make time for some warm-ups and then play through our entire set, along to a back track; and then once a week I'll spend four hours with the lads, running through things at volume. I don't do a lot of hand work. My nerves were shoddy in my right hand since my car crash, and I now have some physio routines to follow following my Carpal tunnel issue.

She was having none of it
Come on now, lah - at some point along the way she told you about the tooth fairy and easter bunny, too, and look how they panned out

Yeah, happy with that - I mean, his/her signature bass couldn't be worse than the TM Stevens effort. -

Look, will let you off this once - but only if you put the "drummer at the wrong gig" on the Official Warwick FB page. That's my deal -
Does anyone know how basses are sold each year ?
Is there a point to this question?
-
Band, absolutely. Bizarrely, when I'm in a rut, I just go and make myself learn a new song - usually something really rocky, and then hit it at volume. Bass equivalent of shock treatment, for me - but when writing has reached a dead end it's a good break for fun.
It's not the big figure that worries me. It's the 16% of all electric sales.
A good call. We're a relatively small proportion of the overall market, with all that that might suggest about guitar trends For a full picture we might also add in some assumptions around the circulation of items, thinking of the used market - which we know is strong. -
Can I just point out that there are a lot of Acronyms flying about here and I don't know any of them! There should be a glossary!
We thought about it, but just didn't have the TIM.
Although I'm based in the Northern California Bay Area, the bass will be shipped from Germany. I'm a member of the newly formed social media team, and cover the main English language forums in an effort to avoid language/translation barriers that may have occurred in the past. Shipping will be paid by Warwick, duties/taxes to be covered by the buyer, if applicable. Thanks!
I bet you're glad you chose to work with bass players, eh? -
Also why is the competition being run via Facebook and not simply off the Warwick web site?
Because this fits with their social media strategy, to encourage usage and engagement via a more interactive and intuitive platform? You know, the same way many people run such campaigns from their official Facebook pages. -
I find that the harder attack disappears once you add the guitars, especially if any of them are cleanish single coils.
Indeed, good call chief - and our singer/guitarist has just that.
Could someone invite Roger Sadowsky to do a similar setup please? RE: Risingson needs a Sadowsky bass comp. Ta
I've always fancied owning a Ric - and we know John Hall is a big fan of the forum, so... ?
