1.
I'm trying to think of a way I can buy this and keep my SVT 4 Pro.
Take a photo of your SVT4 and then sell it... ;-) :-)
2.
Lakland 55-02 has 19mm spacing, like you I can't really get on with narrow spacing. Give the Lakland a shot.
This is good way. Or if anything cheaper, I'd try Cort GB95.
3. You have a PM, sir. Any other ideas on price?
4. I had the Cort and it was nice one, at least the woodworking and attention to detail. Attention to sound was the other story... Awfull pickups and even worse electronics. I was thinking of upgrade, but then I sold it instead :-D

7. And that's another reason to buy them second hand... :-)
8. I had 2 warmoths so far and the quality is there. I bought parts second hand to compensate price of shipping and duty fee + VAT. Necks are rock stable, but a bit on the heavy side, that's where steel rods make a difference ;-) I'm not sure if I was going to assemble from new parts, that would probably be out of my budget, but when buying used neck/body, you can get very nice bass for more than reasonable amount. Warmoth is also one of the best ways to start with exotic woods. I loved my wenge/bloodwood neck!

10. Sorry for this thread, but I've no idea where else to ask. I have Nordstrand 3-band preamp in my bass and I'm thinking to switch it to match the preamp with custom pickups local guy is wiring. The question is what is the Nordstrand worth? I think it's one of his older models and it's 5 knob (vol, vol, treb, mid, bas) + 1 switch for bypassing active circuitry (bass then works even without battery). The mids are fixed frequency, i.e. no push/pull pot. There's still "that turning device I can't translate" right at the circuitry. It's in very good condition, none of pots is scratching or anything, works flawlessly. Any idea what should I ask for it? Thank you.
11.
just as people have said, have your hands on the Euro,s first.
I took that as obvious... But good point!
12. Well, I have quite some experience "from the other side". IMO there's not much difference between shipping abroad and "locally". The only downside is you have to fill few more papers (at least that was when I was sending package from CR to UK or Poland) and pay a little more than locally. The best way to avoid fraud is to deal with peaople who already have feedback, but that's a bit rough for those who don't. I believe you should be able to recognise frauder when exchanging PMs before the sale actually happens. Cheers!

16. Another tenner price drop as a thanks to the guys at JapCrap thread :-) Price is now £540 (courier and case included).
17. Well, I thought so... I'll reply him and politely refuse :-) Thanks guys!
18. The guy proposed it to me for GMR Bassforce. I'm selling it here also, I'd value my bass at about 500 pounds. That's why I'm asking... I'm not sure those old Japs are *that* expensive.
19. Hi guys, does anyone know how much could this one be worth? I've got trade proposal and I don't have idea whether it's good or bad proposition.. The guy says it's Japan from early 80's. I've seen some Cimars but never with this kind of headstock, which I've only seen with Ibanez basses. Any ideas on price? 20. I tried Markbass LM against the TC RH450 and Markbass was blown mile away... It sounded pretty dull with no spark, quite dead to me. On the other hand, TC was exactly my cup of tea - could do from light valve simulation to pretty fuzzy tone. Those amps are very different! It surely depends on what you're looking for... If you want more "hi-fi" or "pure" sound, you should go with LM, but if you want something more messy, then TC is the way you go.
