1. I'd love to see you guys. The only issue to solve is how to traverse those smiling 1475 kilometers in matter of seconds... :-D

3. I'm using my RH450 with one or two 1x12". Both are custom made by local guy and both are awesome. One is equipped with neodymium Eminence Kappalite 3012-HO, the other one has some kind of 18Sound ferrite speaker. Both cabs are 8 ohm. Depending on situation I use one or both of them, but usually I can hear and feel my bass with just one... I'd say nice 1x12" at 8 ohm should be more than enough for rehearsals and gigs for every non-butcher music.
4.
they have great balance and are very comfortable.
Thanks, those are true words! Also should I come up with sale price?
5.
In an ideal world I'd have the RH450 but to be honest I'm pushing my funds to get this rig and one of the bands I'm in requires that I tune flat and I'm not sure that the built-in tuner does this. I didn't actually try the 4x10 cab but the 2x10 combo had loads of punch and the 4x10 will give me a bit more volume and spread. No 2x12 instore but I would wouldn't rule one of these out in the future, it'll depend on how I get on with the 4x10.
Built in tuner in RH450 tunes whatever you want :-) It will just show the note with # sign, so instead of E you will tune D#... And btw, it's simply genius, powerful, lots of tone... the best head I've ever had!
6. Some of you might not know that GMR is luthier company from Poland with quite some similarities to Mayones or Maruszczyk and also other influences in their work (like Warwick or Sandberg). I bought this bass not so long ago mainly because I really digged the look. Unfortunatelly I more and more realise I can't simply switch between 4 and 5 string basses. And because 5 is being my main bass now this fact becomes quite uncomfortable to me - I put fingers on wrong strings all the time. So even though the look itself is fabulous it can't compensate my stupidity. This is Bassforce 4 Classic model, where Classic means it's bolt on (four screws). The workmanship is very, very nice. Everything is smooth and nice, the bass balances nicely due to extended upper horn and the lower one is good for practice while sitting. Neck is very comfy (think of slightly thicker jazz bass) and fast feeling. Overall condition of the bass is pretty good (I would say 8,5/10), there are couple of minor dings at headstock (see pics) and some maple discoloration here and there. The body has only few hardly noticeable minor scratches... Body is two piece mahogany with really nice grain and nicely matched together. Control cavity is shielded by aluminium tape and the cover is made from mahogany too. The neck is three piece maple with two rosewood stripes, matching mahogany veneer headstock (with another thin rosewood veneer between). Rosewood fingerboard with nice grain to it. Two octave 24 frets (medium/jumbo I'd say), side dot markers only. Black hardware: Schaller sealed tuners, hold in tune very well and the ETS bridge is awesome. It's high mass, has adjustable string spacing and simple quick release of strings. Electronics: Bassculture (some say it's "Nordstrand of Germany" and I have no reason not to believe) musicman style pickup in wood cover coupled with Noll 3-band electronics with push/pull volume for active/passive mode. Controls are volume, treble, middle, bass. The bass sounds like... like the bass with MM pickup, although it's not exact MM clone (which suits me well). The sound's not especially aggresive, but still could achieve nicely rounded growl. Nice thing about the preamp is it doesn't color the sound - the bass sounds very similar passive and active when set to flat (controls have center click). Controls have milder effect, you can't totally mess the sound by turning knobs. 10. Is there anyone using Protec Contego with 35" scale bass? I have Cort/Elrick, which is 35" but has pretty short headstock (2+3 pegs), i hope there won't be a problem...

13.
Not sure about it being the dad, but maybe it could be the uncle that no one talks about.
And that is a mistake... Cool bass.
14. I thought I had a need for very strong fuzz and it seems the only thing I need was GAS satisfaction. It's gone and fuzz needs to go too. This is quite strong guitar fuzz, but in some cases it could be used for bass too with quite a success! To achieve good result you need to a) either have a bass with strong output or play fast, ideally with pick or c) play electric guitar in death metal / grindcore band. I tried it with my jazz like bass and when I was playing with fingers it worked, but not that great. Picking quick notes was much better option with way better results. It has cool feature of blend knob which obviously blends fuzz with clean signal. Works with classic 9V battery or adaptor. There is short clip on guitar (by the creator): http://youtu.be/HM51yO2Yy6o I'm looking for £40 + few coins on postage more pics: https://picasaweb.google.com/10947735801048...25/DalekAttack#
15. What are all the controls? Description seems a bit out, since there are 4 single knobs, 1 stacked and 1 switch... Also the bridge looks like it has 5 instead of 4 saddles ;-)

17. How does it sound? Compared to classics like JB or PB...
18. I see my question will stay unanswered. The best way to continue is to buy the clone and answer myself. Will do!
19. Nice SGC: http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/sgc-nany...guitar/85550298
20. Well, I have probably a silly question (asked elsewhere), but did anybody here try Maestro FZ-1S Superfuzz on bass? Doesn't need to be the original, copies experience welcomed too. I'm asking because I can have it's clone for what seems a reasonable price to me so I wonder if somebody tried it...
