1. I'm late as always, but I had 2 precision necks - fretted and fretless - and both were very nice. Finish is nice and smooth, frets well dressed and I also liked the ebonol fretboard.
2. I sold Delicia Jantar bass to Mel and it was awesome sale. Quick payment, sweet comunication and so on. Thanks!
3.
Does this preamp have a model number, as there are one or two listed on the Nord' website.
I finally checked the electronics, butt there are no markings on the unit. It looks exactly like picture of 3B model range at bestbassgear.com so I presume it's one of their variety. Need to sell asap.
4. dood: I'm not sure on this. It's probably slightly older model than those available today, but it's just a guess as those modern ones usually have selectable mids. I'll look if there's any marking on the unit itslef. Cheers.
5. I believe it's an easy fix, but still out of my knowledge. Any guitar tech should do this in five mins.
6.
I use it at every gig...purely for the mute and tuning.
This. I also switch channel from time to time, but not that often. I don't want to look I'm really interested in the music... :-D
7. I can also trade it for ukulele, semi-hard bass case or some other stuff. Let me know what you have.
8. Payment received, sorting out courier. Moderators can close this thread, thanks!
9. Nordstrand 3-band preamp, 5 knob (vol, vol, treb, mid, bas) + 1 switch for bypassing active circuitry (bass then works even without battery). The mids are fixed frequency, i.e. no push/pull pot. There's still some kind of mini-switch right at the circuitry. It's in excellent condition, none of pots is scratching or anything, works flawlessly. Price is firm at 100 + postage.
10. Bump for 300 including postage, lightly padded gig bag and common leather strap. Need to move this fast to get the same one in five string version!
11. Pics! I hate taking photos of black glossy basses. There are only few really tiny dings, the rest are just reflections. Whole gallery here: https://picasaweb.google.com/109477358010488105925/DeliciaJantar4
12. Hi guys, I'm selling Delicia Jantar 4 I recently traded because I spotted one in five string version which must be mine! I bet only a few of people here will know what Delicia is, but put it in short, it's clone of Euro Spectors. It was made in the same factory about 7 years ago when there was some "spare parts" or "supply problems" or call it as you want ;-) The thing is it's very similar to Euro models in every way. The workmanship is amazing, neck through, fully carved NS shape body, same bridge as Euro + Grover tuners. Headstock is a little differently shaped, but that would be probably too much to ask. The pickups are different, there are 2 humbuckers (volume + balance) and 2 band active circuit. Despite cheaper look of that system it sounds pretty. Could do from very zingy and punchy tone on bridge pickup to sweet mellow P-like when soloing neck pickup. The good thing is the bass is quiet since both pickups are hum cancelling, no scratching when turning knobs. Price: I'd like 300 quids + postage. Pics will be there tomorrow (I hope).
13. I can recommend Sommer cable, especially model Spirit XXL. Those are seriously greeat cables either with their Hicon jacks or with Neutrik ones. I don't know if they're normally available in UK, but it's German company and their cables are usually easy to find on eBay.
14. I don't get negative feedback on the body since the neck alone is worth that kind of money! Very nice piece of wood...
15. How much? I'd say something like Cort A5 or similar model from cheaper ones.
16. I will happily trade it towards your RH750 ;-) :-D
17. Oh, come on. Don't tell me there's noone with price idea. So let me put the question differently: Is 100 quids a lot?
