1. 'Alright my luvver' nother Brizzlite 'ere! Welcome aboard... some familiar names mentioned in this thread already... regards to Matt V from Dave S when you see him next!..... I'm up for a meet on the Gloucester road sometime.... Churs then
2. a still available bumperoo
3. Well, it seems everywhere you turn around here, there's Sandbergs coming out of the woodwork!...... I'm assuming yours has a rosewood board?.... my lust for German 'blondes' & the need for a 5, just about keeps me from selling my children into slavery!...... Bassbunny's keeps looking at me seductively though..... So yours is the blueburst version of this: Sandberg JM ?
4. Looks like I'm a bumpin'
5. Cool... I've always liked his playing.... Some great lines with 'Dali's Car' too
6.
Nice bit of rosewood on this one as I recall. They'd make a nice matching pair. I compared this KT5 with a basic 4 banger - the second pickup did bring in a lot more tonal options without causing me all the confusion that my old G&L L2.5K did.
yep!.... if I was a wealthy man........ I really don't think I need more than 2 fives...my trusty Ray & a sandberg.....my G&L's almost sold.... .......or do I?! :brow:
7. hmmm.... at that price it's worth the drive up north to collect!..... if it was with a maple board, I wouldn't hesitate.... I'm having a basic 5 made with a maple board in greenburst (...ready early Nov) through Jam Guitars... but it's costing me a lot more... & one less pickup!.... hmmmm....
8. Ahh!.... here it is.... very nice too!.... Sandberg Basic Ken Taylor
9. Where?....I can't find any original thread..... ??? I want to see it!
10. BIG +1 for Roqsolid!..... great covers at a good price.... I have 2 GS112's bagged by them.... you can see them HERE
11.
Bloody hell, can't believe this is still here. Beautiful looking, and a wonderfully versatile bass.
.......think I'm close to a sale now!
12.
I'm quite interested, wondering what it compares to tonally, and what quality it is compared to similar brands? Send me a PM with the information please.
PM'd
13.
The words "Not a Chance" come to mind . It is easily the most "playable" of all my Basses and does a really wide range of sounds. I have a G&L L2500 Tribute as well and that hasn't got a look in since i got the Sandberg................
ooh... you temptress you! waving it in me face, then snatching it away, lol! ...a question for you, does yours have position markers down the edge or is it blank all over?
14. I'll look into it..... unless you want to sort it from your end & we can arrange a pick up day & time.... or we could meet at Membury services or some such mid way kinda place......
15.
Any chance you would be willing to send it to me?
reckon it's a possibility, if you cover the cost on top.... where you at?
16.
Like this?
oohh!... that's lovely!.... Yes, I wouldn't say no! I've ordered a JM version with maple board in greenburst.... from Jam guitars (being the local dealers.... & I can try before buy, or not even!) But after trying several other Sandbergs, including the 4 string basic.... I think they will have a sale!..... ...unless you want to part with that baby for a good price!
17. yeah great basses.... I'm after a 5 string version
18. I think after some deliberation, I'm after a straight sale.....Reckon I'm gunna be saving up for a Sandberg Thanks to those who have PM'd me with trade offers
19. hmmm.... that looks nice.... I've been trying out Sandberg basses recently & I'm very impressed.... rare to see a maple board
20. interesting PM's I'm getting!..... bumping anyway....... (trades with maple boards considered moreso than rosewood.... but all taken into account!)
