4. I think Singlecuts are cool, I'd have one for sure.....In fact I briefly spoke to Jon Shuker about a Singlecut jazz style bass a few months ago (albeit a bit more stylised than the mockup earlier in the thread). Don't think it will happen for a good while, but its a nice spec Si
5. I best make the 20min journey to have a play then hadn't I lol Si
6. Very nice indeed..is it a refinish? Si
7. LOVE Cake Saw them at The Forum a few years ago, and hopefully gonna go see them at the Roundhouse in November! Come along! Gabe Nelson is one of my fave players Si

Ipswich Music Day

Use to go to these back when they started (nearly 10years ago?!). Awesome day of music and I can only assume it's gotten bigger and better. How did you get your band on dude? Si
11. PornoMan HungRay? Not good at this Si
12. Let me know if you consider selling your '79 stripped P Si
13. When you take your foot off the pedal in the forward-most position, does it return to the 'up' position on its own? Unlike the Cry baby style where you have to manually rock it back and forwards Si
14. Hey, is the Wah sprung? Si
15. I wasn't too far off then...just the wrong way round lol. Would have thought the matching headstock would commanded more bunce Si
16.
I wouldn't give Norm a penny of my money.
Ooo what's the goss? Si
17.
Come on then people - I now have a price quote on the baby with the hang tags, anyone want to take a punt? I'll give you a starter & say it's more than $20K (that's about £12,500). . . I've also asked for a price on the matching headstock model (my personal fave) so let's take some estimates on that one too
I'll go for £16k on the hangtags and £18k on the matching headstock....so whatever the dollar equivalents are Si
18. Very nice! If anyone is put off by it being headless....it does seem to be a bolt on.....so Jon might be able to do a headed neck for it! Good luck Si
19. Precisely Si
20. Oi thats my co-pilot you got there! lol Si
21. I guess its whether the solutions above actually save me any hassle over the ME-50b.....seeing as the Resonance control/sounds on the foot pedal are great. A filter pedal plus expression pedal isn't saving me space. Si
22. Most of the sounds I use are pretty clean actually, there are synths layered over the top for dirty sounds. I'm more interested in providing the sub and supportive bass sounds. I've owned and used an EHX Micro Synth, nice piece of gear, but it got sold. Found the sliders too fiddly for quick changes live. Si
23. Hmmm I think what i want (which probably doesn't exist) is a sprung Wah (bad horsie styley), with a low-pass mod, that would be ideal lol Si
24. A bit labour intensive yeah, I have a couple if tunes in my hiphop/dubstep band that have every note swelled...I'm not riding the volume pedal for 8mins lol. Plus the Me-50b volume function has a noticeable notch between off and on, so it's hard to be consistent. As you might have guessed from my other thread, I'm vaguely thinking about replacing it for single pedals, but it's a great piece if kit, so we'll see Si
