7. Very cool bass, I'm perhaps maybe looking for the 4string version Si
8.
7.25" radius? blimey. personally, i think to buy a bass thats already dirty is stupid. buy a fresh one and dirty it yourself you lazy bum.
They do a NOS version if Relics aren't your thing Si
9.
I'm feeling a bit like the bad guy here. I bought this from here for £1195: http://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/basses/siennajazz.htm As you can see it is original apart from the pots which were changed at some point. I trust Mark's judgement on this and on any other bass that I've bought from him. When I sent this to Bob it was working perfectly. I can only assume that any problems occured in transit. I have apologised for any misunderstanding with this, when I first read the advert it sounded as though I deliberately sold a bass that wasn't working properly. I would never do that. I have lost over £200 on this bass. Tom.
Sorry Tom, I certainly didn't mean for it to sound like you're the bad guy, far from it! As we've discussed previously, the issue with the pickup may not have been picked up (sic) even if it had been present before transit. It was still giving output, but just sounded weak/thin, so I had it checked out. But yes, very possibly happened in transit, they do get rattled around. Cheers Si
10. They could leave the factory as both single or two-piece....the 80's spec's were quite loose . But I agree, the single piece/ply ones look cheap to me. Si
11. I was led to believe when I purchased this that the current 2-piece is original, but I suppose anything is possible?!. If anything, I think this looks better, not keen on the single-piece ones....aren't they single ply too?!. Have to say, the screws didn't even even register with me when I took the plate off, must have been late/early lol. I've said to myself that I might take a G&L Tribute L2000 in part ex, preferably in Sunburst, obviously with the rest in cash. Gonna try and do some sound clips today! Cheers for all the comments guys Si

Have played this....very cool bass. I didn't get long with it (couple of tunes at a jam), and I didn't even look at the preamp lol, but what I really took away from the experience is how perfectly the bass balances when wearing it! Si
13.
If you go in 'images' the second picture is of a very sexy P bass... a new one in teh range coming soon perhaps sir? Have they let the cat out of the bad a bit soon sir?
Ooooo yeah, a '62 P maybe?! :-D Si
14.
Isn't that enough?
Well yes of course Si
15. I'd say that's a decent enough price seeing as they were around £2200 about 5 years ago. Custom shop prices don't seem as hiked as normal production prices?!. I have to say, when I've had a stacked knob Jazz. I found that I barely used the tone on the neck pickup, so for me vol/vol/tone is a more economical approach....but stacks do look cool Si
16. Just two years earlier Looks like 3 of mine too lol, but just very very cool! Si
17. So not for the Fender haters this.....but i've only just seen the '11 offerings from the Custom Shop Time Machine range: http://www.fendercustomshop.com/index.php/...elic_Jazz_Bass/ Yes I know it's only one model......but what a model!! Si
18. Just sat and learned the bass break from You Can Call Me Al.....loved the song for 12years, only just learned it Si
19. And the fact that he's Stuart Zender! Figure your own sound and style out, thats the real fun Si
20.
Have you spoken to Jon about the sound you'd like to get from it? Maybe different pickups or pre-amp might help?
+1 Jon will sort you out with something, just get some angry pickups in there!! Si
21. Just amend the title then please Si
22. A 'really don't wanna eBay it, would much prefer a bass-chatter to have it' bump Si
23. Done, 50mb worth apparently Si
24. Really love this, singlecuts are the only 'fancy basses' I like.......and even better when they're understated! Lovely! Si
