New band, changes required. Will courier UK BUT, buyer needs to organise & pay for that, just telling me collection day. Open to part trades but I need at least £400 cash and trade value of my bass is £1200. Any trial in Darlington, will travel up to 100 miles from there to meet up. I'm linking a thread which has the spec (but you'll need to scroll down a bit). Only made in 2013, they sold in the UK for around £2100. Bass weighs 9lb 3oz. My feedback is linked towards the end of my posts. Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/2013-fender-fsr-75-jazz-bass-avri-usa-mint.1202260/

Epifani UL501 with Rack Ears *Now £400*
karlfer replied to Rblake80's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
New York's finest. Epifani seem to make superb, relatively simple amps that do the basics spot on. If this had come up before I got my Picolo, I would have ripped your arm off. Scant consolation I know. Even sound guys love them (adjustable signal level). Crazy it's still here especially at this price. -
Hello all, shameless self plug! Bassist looking for a band (paying gigs only please). I'm moving back to Darlington but happy to gig from York to Newcastle. Looking for band doing paying gigs only, at least one per month, preferably more. I've done between 300/400 gigs in the north west in the last decade. Excellent gear, own van & hair, 3 original teeth. I'm older than God, uglier than sin, but usually manage unaided. Please scroll down my Facebook page for videos with Recycled Teenagers, Troyen, BBGM & Rattled. If anybody knows any band looking Facebook page link. https://www.facebook.com/karl.altdorfer

Glad this bass came up, 'cos it's jogged a memory that was bugging me, as I KNEW I had one of these actives from new. That I sold to pay for the passive. Anyway, this 2012 active was the "standard" Factory Special Run". My 2012 passive was the Guitar Center commissioned Factory Special Run. Both models were made at around the same time (my passive serial number is about 150 before this bass). BUT!!! The 6 Sea Foam Pearl & 6 Black passives came to the UK AFTER the active version, as they were brought from Guitar Centre stock left over. SO glad I've finally remembered Tommy, it's a relatively cheap & easy conversion to passive, you've got a lot more chance of getting this version than the original passive.

I liked it Stevo (sorry, I appear to have gone Australian). Familiar rehearsal room I'm sure the very Floydian feel hasn't escaped any of you. Really liked your playing, perfect for the number IMO. Good luck with the project & enjoy.

Dodgy deal via Gumtree? PayPal protection??
karlfer replied to solo4652's topic in General Discussion
Bang on. Every time I put anything up on Bumtree I get a reply within an hour to send details as they are asking for their boss/uncle/dad/client/clairvoyant/pet cat, whatever. Block & delete -

Not one of the 1000's of '96 Fender 50th anniversary, this is a 50th Anniversary of the Precision bass model. Less than 500 made, apparently only 200 made it out of the USA, these do not come up often. They sold at about £1500 in 2001. Price is cash, no trades thanks, I won't be taking offers I'm afraid. Weight 8lb 14oz, truly excellent condition. Proper discussion, specs (and some slightly confused folk) on this link. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/fender-50th-anniversary-precision-bass.597217/page-4 Any trial in Wigan, your rig or mine. Courier, you pay & organise BUT UK ONLY, sorry. Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl.

Recently did a trade with Tommy. He was brilliant. I had a family related problem & he kindly came to my mother's whilst I was there. Top bit of kit in great nick & simply really helpful. Top fella, fully recommended.

Absolute pleasure to deal with Nick, he made it all so easy. It's very obvious he really looks after his gear. Fully recommended, another great ambassador for the Basschat community. Thanks again Nick.

Pah, Vic Reeves (or Rod Moir as he was known then) used an 18 foot Goodman!
