Whilst I have contributed to this thread, I'm now of the opinion it is getting a bit dangerous for one person so I'm going to delete my previous contributions. I don't want to cause him problems. At the risk of being a censor perhaps the Mods may want to give some thought as to possible implications for BC. I wouldn't be gutted if the thread vanished.
Taste and discernment are very subjective... but it's quite wrong of course. Still... I don't have to look at it, do I? How long have you been quoted for completion, Karl? Is Mark's lead time getting longer yet?
Am I speaking to this censor of taste????? Yeah, he can't help being southern You will look at it my lad To be honest Mark, I didn't ask. When I had my SEI made I was quoted 4 months, it ended up being 10. I am that much in love with my MEXICAN FSR, waiting isn't really an issue. At Friday night's gig I actually had a punter come up and say that the bass just seemed to be an extension of my body. He's out of hospital tomorrow the cheeky git
Thanks fellas. Funny you should say that: To be fair this is really more of a piece of 'art' (ok, loose term - perhaps 'visually striking' fits better) than a working tool & they're not to everyone's taste, that's for sure - but surely it's a good thing we're all drawn to different things? Decal is homemade, so not too extravagant . . .
Oh my sweet Lord Actually Alain EAD, MY wife would be slaughtering me if I had that bass. Still, you only get killed once...........................

Somebody has just placed an order for the same as the Burgundy Mist 64, except. 1. Lightly reliced. 2. Sea Foam Green with matching headstock. 3. BROWN TORTIE PLATE, yes discreet BROWN TORTIE PLATE The wait begins. It will be worth it.

Mark has just got my 2011 White Precision. He has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, in fact I think he sent the loot before I said yes . Fully recommended, a credit to BC and himself, so deal with confidence peeps! All the very best fella and enjoy her. Cheers, Karl.

If you vote for me in the Tort Police election you can expect the freedom to express the likes of this, unlike under the dictatorial discreet regime
looks great - and so cheap too looking at the US prices
£445 delivered from Barrie's guys. Indeed a bargain. As can be seen in the following background (far left) the backlighting is just another great feature.
Time for the public to rise up against the oppressive tort police! Vivá la revólution!
Correct (even if you are a clever dickie with your acutes or graves or whatever they are ).

Wonder if Tort Police is an elected position. The current incumbent MOST go! Tort is perfectly allowable with LPB, Fiesta Red, Sea Foam Green, Shell Pink, Burgundy Mist amongst others. Brown Tort obviously being desirable in most cases. I shall be hitting the election trail soon!

Another little update. A two gig weekend, not recommended at my age, or in this heat. Last night in particular, the place was hotter than a solar flare The more I use this amp, the more I find out about it. Using the contour full on, all the rest "flat" brings out a beautiful John Paul Jones kinda noise on the FSR, my current fave bass of all times . Backing the contour down to noon brings it back into the realms of growl I like for Metallica, Saxon etc. This really is an incredible little amp for the money. If you us the graphic eq to boost the mids, the volume is just crazy! Try one if you can, very impressive.

Drummist has been requested many times not to book more than one gig per weekend, max 3 gigs per month. So, 6 gigs in June and this weekend Fri night and Sat night. God I'm wrecked. Both pretty good, really loving the Carvin BX 700 and the Mex FSR P/J passive. One guy on Fri night said it was almost as though the bass was an extension of my body. Yes, it has grown into me as I'm now dead, or it bloody well feels it The heat didn't help. Very distracting with young things who appear to be unable to afford full clothing
