1. Played Ghostfest on sunday and had an absolute blast!
2. I want this but can't afford it. Once again fate has let out a cleveland steamer upon my head.
3. ooooooooooooo i want this
4. I have an endorsement, I got a nice discount and get well looked after in terms of maintenance and repairs etc! No contract involved at all and I have a beautiful shiny bass I did also have a bad experience with an endorsement so if there is something you are concerned about, feel free to drop me a PM if you want a bit of advice on something you may be worried about!
5. For crying out loud, this is the "Basschat Market Place" part of the forum and all this chap is doing is selling a bass. If he is getting a profit, so what?! Are you jealous? If he can get £1600 for a bass he paid less for then why shouldn't he? This does not constitute a rip off merchant and you are devaluing his thread with your comments. Grow up.
6. That's really nice
7.
...and the best bass that you have ever played?
Well that would be mine, but that's because it's built how I want it
8. I had a pretty high end Status 5 string. The B was absolutely thunderous. However, I just couldn't get on with the neck profile and the feel of graphite necks isn't for me. No doubt it was a pretty epic bass, but I didn't click with it.
9. Music Ground in Manchester had one in a while ago. It was absolutely stunning. I'd say second best bass I have ever played and anything under it had a long way to catch up. It was effortless to play, so responsive to the dynamics of my playing, gorgeous tone, very pretty and felt really really well built. I couldn't actually put a finger on anything that wasn't quite right with it. At the time I was putting money aside for my Shuker so I couldn't afford it, but if I hadn't been saving I would have had it in an instant. In truth I haven't played as many custom built basses as a lot of people on here, but it was better than any Sei, Ken Smith, Status, Wal or Alembic I have ever tried and be a fair distance. Horses for courses though
10. I've hardly seen anyone from this forum play! I really should make more of an effort! I've seen a few vids and stuff and there are some pretty handy players on here.....makes me think I need to do something similar!

20. My tip - buy a Sansamp BDDI
21. Aaron Goldberg is rocking my world.
22. I can honestly say that I have never really felt the need to big any manufacturers up and I have used Warwick, Spector, Status, Sandberg, Peavey, Musicman, Gibson and Fender in either live or studio situation. A possible exception is Sandberg - but I am not prepared to do that due to a feud with Synergy Distribution. I don't think Jon particularly needs me to do it for him as he seems to have a strong reputation and I have heard pretty much nothing negative about his work. However when I very first sat in Jon's workshop and had a play on some of his stock I was sold straight away. His basses are incredible, the options are so broad, he is such a nice guy and his prices are very competitive. I am so proud to be involved with what he does and I would strongly urge anyone who is thinking about splashing out on something nice to go to Jon. There is good competition out there and I really like the look of what Alan at AC is doing - in fact I have spoken with him and do intend to own one of his basses at some point. High fives for Jon.
23. Hahahaha the Shuker bug is rife in here Get them bought up boys
