Well pleased to see 24 voters..! Someone must be doing something right. Good stuff from all (yes, even Lenny, albeit grudgingly... ). And the picture for April is... (Bearing in mind today's date, I'm apprehensive ...)
Not just a great turnout for the entries, but I concur, 24 voters is great to see , thanks to all for getting involved. Congrats to SH73 , a well deserved win
Being frustrated in a band is not normal. For those of us that do our homework and only join bands that meet our requirements including material requirements you mitigate that frustration. Blue
I get your positivity , but in reality ANY relationship involves compromise , and if its with 3 or 4 others the compromise can lead to frustration , homework is relevant , but situations change and develop, managing your own expectations is useful in this regard.

This month is a right struggle for me I am in the middle of a kitchen build , mad at work , new band start up , loads of songs to learn with arrangements as we are a 3 piece musically , and while I am sure I can find time to record something , my head can't find the space to get the angle , still a few days left ...break over , back to it
I'm sorry, Lurks, I forgot that not all here are members of the intelligentsia. 'C3' refers to the 'piano' key that will trigger the bass drum through MIDI. The notes are numbered by octave, where C0 is a very low C indeed. Typical drum configurations, such as General MIDI (GM...) use C for the bass drum, C# for the snare, and so on. For the purposes of my experiment I could have chosen any key at all; I just naturally went for the 'standard' key for the bass drum. I'm assuming that the concept of a Round Robin is within your grasp (generous as I am this evening...), and that velocity levels hold no secrets from you..? If not, I'll elaborate further. Anything else too cloudy for you..? ... To tell the truth, most of this stuff was way beyond my ken a week or so ago, and anyway, I forget it as fast (or faster...) than I pick it up..! Old age, eh..?
Cheers Dad , I do recall seeing numbers on the midi keyboard now you come to mention it Now as for a round robin, well there's the plump one in my garden that loves mealworms , and the bet where you get perms from 3 picks and that's it

not as I have experienced , I even changed computers after 3 years and lost the activation code , an email later and they sent me another for the new computer , quality support and a top DAW

I have done as much as I can now while it is based on the picture, there is a darkness to this one, a close colleague has had a family tragedy and I couldn't help but be influenced by it. Ez drummer bashes out the beat, and I picked up my Ibanez 6 string and started making some dark tones using Waves Guitar3 , then when I had something close, I built a bass patch to suit it. The lyrics are simple but to the point on this one, enjoy Broken https://soundcloud.com/lurksalot/broken
So if Basschat was a pub, it'd be one of those with knackered carpets, cheap pints of 80 shilling and bags of pork scratchings behind the bar
And most importantly , the wall hanger with Big D's that slowly revealed itself when you had your nuts ;-)

I have had a brilliant couple of hours . I managed to get a focus on this one but I do need a vocal , I am going to give it a go because it is a bit personal the way it has panned out , but if I cant do it justice I will try and get someone. I have only had a short time to get it recorded , but its one of those that has been seeping into me since about 4 days after I posted the picture. I need angry , but tuneful , I can do angry , but the tune bit tends to be just beyond me, I'll wait till the house is empty till I get some screaming done , then we'll slap it through the autotune.
Ugh. I am going to have to back out due to a family situation. I am really sorry (and gutted). To add insult to injury I had to watch Wales lose while waiting with the injured party on A+E. Ho hum. If there is any hint of a loss I will chuck £10 into the coffers.
I hope all is OK Owen, funds should be fine , thanks for the offer .
So, loaded the cabs, amp, bag & stands into the boot. First bass loaded onto back seat, second bass being loaded into front seat footwell then I discovered this. Not a happy bunny. Played a gig in a rough hole last night band there was glass on the car-park. Thought I'd got away with it as the drive home was fine! Going to be spending the afternoon sorting this out now. Have fun everyone, I was really looking forward to this. If your short of funds from today to cover the costs, please let me know and i'll happily transfer my £10.
Thats a shame , I hope you got it sorted, OK Funds are OK , finished up with a few pennies over which we can put to the next one.

Did someone grab them? Is was a silver one and a 3 way. I'd greatly appreciate getting them back
Yup Ive got them , they are not transport friendly are they , I had to cut them in half to make them fit in my cable bag If you remember where my place is you can pop round for them
