Its not just the music though is it . If your front man and band engages the audience you can play any tune you want , you will have them onside , put on a show, throw some lights at it , look interested and make like you want to be there and you can play the same set as the next band , but its a totally different experience

[/quote] Absolutely, 46 tracks from me , that has just amazed me , before I started playing with this challenge I had never even used a DAW ! a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has/is participating, for all the encouragement , support and even as simple as being the audience for the work that gets produced. This is an incredible journey and long may it continue to inspire people like me who start without a clue, but just getting the confidence to make music and publish it is truly fantastic.

Wow , a snapshot at about now is on the one hand fantastic many thanks, as I appear to have pipped it by one vote, but on the other hand tinged with a touch of disappointment. By now, Douglas (Dad3353) would have thrown a certificate at me , but as is obvious by his lack of an entry, he is not well, and seriously not well . I would like him to get better and sort my certificate out , to make it a bit more official ! It sounds just sales banter to me , IIRC they are selling up and want shut of stock , so it's likely just positioning to encourage exposure and sales , seems like it is working !!

This sounds like a great idea, I have a whole load of ideas but only 37 minutes left on my Soundcloud account Favourite so far is Minnie Ripperton , hmmm I could do it like the Photo comp, but put up 4 versions and choose the [s]best[/s] least worst at the death , sounds like a plan

Most of the places we play have barely enough room for me let alone any spare stuff! I think the drummer has room for a couple of spare sticks , but that's about it.

[/quote] Oh my days , recognition at last , thanks Dad , though I must say we did gave an unfortunate derailment yesterday , Albus, the grandson, had a bridge strike and consequently Annie and Clarabel rolled over onto their backs and Thomas landed on top , what a mess. Still , a full investigation exonerated the management and we are back on schedule Well , the trains are at least !!

I have to confess that I heard both and liked them , I did have a quick look around though to check no-one noticed

I suppose in the spirit of a BC Bass bash then yes , we should be a BC get together , If however there is someone who has the potential of some quality input then I don't see why not , just not a free for all I guess.
