Agreed, this is a bargain! I have this amp and it's so easy to get the tone you (I) want. Definitely worth picking up - I always wanted to match mine up with the 4x10 cab as above so would be taking this if i could
You can , you can Ed to add ... at one point I used this amp as a pre amp into a Yammy power amp and just loved it !

Yes indeed, well done mr frog shot 👍
I think it was some kind of short-scale Guild.
Shortscale will soon be the thing , but hopefully not till I've moved my long necks on

weighed in, weighed in a great selection again , with 5 standing out, requiring a difficult cull to my 3 , well done all

Very pleased with last nights gig from a performance aspect, less so from a crowd perspective. It was supposed to be a big party gig for the landlords retirement , but he left last week and the bank holiday weekend meant the turnout was a bit shy , we had some dancing , but not the normal antics from that pub. On a massive plus, I blooded a new bass in last night and I loved it , a gretsch junior jet shortscale, it felt just like it was always meant to be in my hands and sounded lovely. A big up to graham from Dawson's in chester who recommended it to me , I upset Mrs Lurks when I told her I could sell all my other guitars now , she complained that I wasn't allowed to because of the guitar brackets on the walls would look awful without guitars hanging on them

Friday night at my local was our second outing and it was much more confident than the first , one or two interesting moments of improvisation but overall it went OK, it was well recieved and we got re-booked fro July , overheard some really good comments among the punters too. so onto a fairly big gig next weekend , its the retirement do for the landlord of a pub we played regularly in our old format and we were his favorite booking , so , no pressure there then

I walked these into the shop and a guy asked about them , he gave the shop £40 and I helped him put them in his car

Holy Thread bump Batman I was sorting out some of my kit in the garage , and yep , I found this ! Just cranked it up , woke the street and it still sounds lovely. So a reminder , silly local offers might grab this , I am half heartedly negotiating a trade with the local rehearsal studio for this against room time , but if anyone has a few readys and has the brass to part with a bit of it shout up Lurks

I'll give these till the weekend then i'll run them down to the Roy Castle charity shop .

It great to be back in this thread !! The new line up were out tonight , effectively the old lineup less rhythm guitar , so a bit more space and a bit more work , new songs and new arrangements of old ones. It went well enough , a new venue as well , so getting the sound right proved a bit troublesome , but after about 6 songs we dialled in and it worked really well . Back on the road again😊

I have this bit of kit that I havent used in a while and it is only collecting dust, though it is in a covered rack, so not tooo much If it's not worth £50 make me an offer , postage will be a few notes on top, but that's it. Ed to note..the dynamic processor in the pic is not part of the EQ module , though the Equaliser does have its own control to a degree on compression/limiting

I have 2 pairs of passive PA tops / floor monitors/ speakers call them what you will, and I would like others to share the life that is left in them We used them in the band for many years and while I have replaced a few bits along the way, they work fine I seem to recall they are all rated around 300W whether that is peak or RMS I have no clue , but powered with a Behringer europower 1500W amp they were enough for all the gigs we did at the time . I dont suppose its worth a hard sell as I am giving them away I have a pair of Thomann the BOX PA300II ABS cases very strong construction and a pair of 'classD' speakers , these are made of wood, so when the drivers are tired you could burn them to keep warm, or replace them and carry on , which I did once or twice. they might need a clean they have been under a bench in the garage for a year or two Collection please , Chester area , no probs meeting reasonably local .
No free time this month (medical matters that'll occupy most of May...), so here's mine, whilst I still can... Evolution (All Things Must Pass...) ... Enjoy.
I have absolutely no idea how you manage to do your tunes to such quality in such a short time , incredible , and only cements my reason not to listen to them before I've done mine

I have a lot on my plate again this month, so I have kept this simple ...... and mercifully short https://soundcloud.com/lurksalot/birth enjoy
There were big steps forward in latency with ththe new 2nd Gen Scarlett's over the 1st gen driver (which the Forte shared), so you may well see an improvement (depending on a lot of variables) in a 2nd Gen 2i4. Si // Focusrite Media Relations
I understood that the gen 1 Scarlett runs on the Gen 2 drivers? I changed mine and it does seem to run with a lot less latency , though I will get a gen 2 fairly soon anyway 😊

Well done Chiliwailer , great track , it deserves the honours

Voted myself now , Not only are the compositions top notch , but I think the overall production standard is brilliant .

When I first started I used a 2.1u as an interface , it did work but the latency was an issue , and IIRC the volume levels went funny on playback . I guess hacks are ok for you clever dudes who know what you are doing , but I now just go for stuff that's designed for the job
