  1. Yep, this & the Sabbath compilation "We Sold Our Souls For Rock"N"Roll" is where it all began for me.
  2. Toby is the best guitar finisher in the UK IMO. He's done some stunning work for a friend of mine.
  3. So are all guitarists that use anything other than standard tuning "cheating" as well?
  4. Pocket Calculator - Kraftwerk
  5. Gibson finishes are a bit of a yawn-fest IMO, but I really like Pelham Blue.
  6. No, their names are Iain & Gavin.
  7. Yep, dead ringer for a Washburn Stage.
  8. That's completely different. I've needed a plumber a few times over the years, can't recall ever needing a pub band.
  9. That's a very long walk to be fair.
  10. My Zon Legacy Elite Imperial was probably the closest I ever got to my perfect bass.
  11. Absolutely superb basses these.
  12. King Harvest (Has Surely Come) - The Band
  13. Sonic Attack - Hawkwind
  14. Grover Imperials, or copies of.
  15. I've not tried the Swede, but the Turnip is a really good bass.
  16. Whom Are You? - The Whom
  17. I used to find Zappa's particular brand of offensive/scatalogical humour genuinely funny when I was younger.

  20. It goes far beyond "inspiration" - most musical genres have their own rules that tend to be followed, even by people who refuse to admit it. That's why you don't tend to hear any 7 bar blues.
  21. I was referring to Nirvana. I don't like Foo Fighters either mind, and I've never equated "popular" with "good"
  22. Dave Grohl confirming that you don't need any discernible talent to make it big.
  23. Nobody creates music from "absolutely nothing".
  24. I stopped reading at "TikTok phenomenon".
