  6. That's right. If it wasn't for the gloves Scott Devine would have been arrested for being really irritating a long time ago.

Makes a nice change from a headless bass.
  9. Not correct. Sticky backed plastic was Fablon or something similar., but being the BBC they weren't allowed to use product names.
  10. It very much depends on the individual bass. I've had basses that have never needed so much as a slight tweak, and others where I spent more time adjusting the neck than I did playing them. One of the latter was a A USA Stingray 5 string.
  11. It's a really good album.
  12. The series two basses have what became known as the "Funk Groove", but Mark's original Jaydee didn't have this feature. Having owned many basses over the years, including a series two Jaydee, I can honestly say I never found the funk groove to make any difference whatsoever, and I used to play a LOT of slap.
  13. Yes, there was a mass dummy spitting event around then.
  14. I only recently came back on here after a few years of not bothering. Nothings really changed on here.
  15. Looks like the body has been stripped & the knobs aren't original, but that's a very nice bass.
  16. Yeah, icastle was a good bloke.
  17. You do get a 10 watt Vox amp with it as well, which makes the BIN seem a lot more sensible.
  18. Both Sides Now - Joni Mitchell
  19. ...and Marcus Miller would be working in a McDonalds today if it wasn't for some guys that used to hang out in Denmark St. 😂
  20. If this goes on much longer I'll want a cyanide pill.
  21. The first person I ever saw using a Jaydee was Steve Barnacle when he was in Rick Wakeman's band.
  22. Macari's has been closed for a while now, it's not a recent thing.
  23. Here to help. 🙂
  24. With your Mark Kingly and wasp-waist and swivel-hippy, show you had, and I must say it showed it first self in pictures with the rhythmic contrapole of the wobbling of the hipper, sideways with the thumb and tilty, gave him that expression both also with a little doggy-lublike in the eyebold which he conveyed to the smaller femailode of the specie, coupled with his music because he did trittly-how fine on the strims, helped him along the roamer [....] I heard it first of all in Macari's in the early mordy: I was doing the shavit-huff with my razor blade, which of course is a safety one, and suddenly, suddenly he did a little slappity syncopole or a drop-it and how, or something he did and caused a jerkit over a pimplode and I've been suffering ever since!
  25. Nope, I haven't got a f*cking clue either.
