  1. Also, what you imagine might be your dream bass may turn out to be anything but once you've had one. A Rickenbacker 4001 was my dream bass when I started playing. When I actually got one I couldn't have been more disappointed.
  2. Alice Cooper was originally the band's name, not the singer's.
  3. I was in a band called "Frank's Parents" for a while.
  4. Yeah, I'd never join a band that was called Nigel.
  5. Celebration Day - Led Zeppelin
  6. Yep, this & the Sabbath compilation "We Sold Our Souls For Rock"N"Roll" is where it all began for me.
  7. Toby is the best guitar finisher in the UK IMO. He's done some stunning work for a friend of mine.
  8. So are all guitarists that use anything other than standard tuning "cheating" as well?
  9. Pocket Calculator - Kraftwerk
  10. Gibson finishes are a bit of a yawn-fest IMO, but I really like Pelham Blue.
  11. No, their names are Iain & Gavin.
  12. Yep, dead ringer for a Washburn Stage.
  13. That's completely different. I've needed a plumber a few times over the years, can't recall ever needing a pub band.

  15. My Zon Legacy Elite Imperial was probably the closest I ever got to my perfect bass.
  16. Absolutely superb basses these.
  17. King Harvest (Has Surely Come) - The Band
  18. Sonic Attack - Hawkwind
  19. Grover Imperials, or copies of.
  20. I've not tried the Swede, but the Turnip is a really good bass.
  21. Whom Are You? - The Whom
  22. I used to find Zappa's particular brand of offensive/scatalogical humour genuinely funny when I was younger.
  23. The problem with Steel Panther is they're not as genuinely ridiculous as most of the bands they are parodying.
  24. The Sounds of 2022 Award has been given out since 2009? 😂
