Well... reviving an old thread here! Just bought an Ibanez SR1306 from Cameron today. He kindly delivered it to my hotel (nothing seedy going on...) cash was exchanged and the deed was done! Given it a quick set up while, plays really well! Looking forward to getting it home to Essex and blasting it through an amp! 🙂

Warwick have been doing this for some years. Hard to spot, but you can see the USB in on the back of the control panel.

Ken Lawrence builds absolutely fantastic instruments. I've played a few and they are of the absolute highest quality. Personally I love the look, totally get that some won't! I played the below some years ago... an incredible beast.

PMT don't have a particularly strong used sales department unlike GuitarGuitar or Andertons. PMT probably don't actually want to take in much used stock and will only do so for a high profit margin or the ability for a quick flip. My advice is not to take offence by low offers, the item is yours to do with as you wish, simply decline their offer and move on. They're under no obligation whatsoever to offer you what you want, it's their business, they can offer you want THEY want to pay and you either accept or decline.

A 6 string Classico Deluxe with front and back buckeye is $62,000 according to Alembic's current price list. That's £51,000 without shipping or import taxes, WITH those it'd be £64,000. Sixty. Four. THOUSAND. A Series II under the same basis as the above would be £45,000. Pocket change really...

Tell a lie... this is the headless 6er I had. Bought it from a Cash Converters of all places for an absolute steal, though it was in a bit of a state. I think @ambient took this off me in trade years back and did the work to get it back to it's former glory.

Pretty sure three of those used to be mine! The single cut 6, the buckeye 6 and the headless 6. Great basses.
