1. I have an awesome 6 string for sale dude, an absolute beauty in the for sale section. It's a Les Evans custom. I know your a 5 string guy, but if you fancy stepping up to 6, let me know!
2. BUMP. No interest in this at all? I'm surprised. It's literally one of the nicest 6 strings going... Trade plus cash options considered. C'mon guys!
3. Well a lot of our stuff require a B string, our guitarist play a John Petrucci Custom 7 string guitar, so it makes sense to have a B on bass. I play a fair bit of tappy type stuff as well, hence the 10 string etc. so with a 7 string, most if not all songs I tap on can be bounced down to a 7. So with a 7 string, I find myself not needing to change basses over and over again. I have one 7 tuned standard, and one tuned D and with that we're all good!
4. It will be tuned B to F as that is what I need to play what we play. It should be getting shipped out today... cant wait!
5. I know right? The prices are stupidly low... they are Korean licensed products by all accounts with licensed Armstrong pups and licensed hipshot bridge pieces etc but the pre is all bass mods in house and the fully set them up with a plek machine too. I'll be sure to let people know about this thing in great detail!
6. Hi guys, After deliberating with my current 6 string basses, I have concluded I am offically a 7 string player and as such I bought a backup 7 string, it's a K7 Bass Mods. Take a look guys, let me know you're vibes. Anyone got any experiance wsith these things?? Any ideas of quality and sound? I took a punt because it only cost me £575 including a hardcase and shipping to the UK, so it seems worth it. The guys over the pond on TalkBass seems to give it the thumbs up, just wondering if there are any UKers that know about these beasts? Considering I ordered it already, I guess asking for input is a step too late, but still, i am intregued! Russ.
7. Hey Guys, It’s with a bit of a heavy heart that I must move this on... Its truly one of the best basses I've owned, an absolute masterpiece and about as rare as a rare thing gets. This is a 6 string Les Evans custom bass with an Olivewood body, Ebony fret board and Bubinga back. It has a John East 18v pre amp with 2 EMG soap bar pickups, the bridge is a Warwick 2 piece and the controls are a joy to work with, pumping out deep dark thunderous lows and crisp clean highs. The condition of the bass is excellent; no notable knocks or dents anywhere to be seen. The action is low, but you could get it lower if you want. The nut is fully adjustable, you can lower the height of the strings at the nut which makes for a very easily adjustable bass, and obviously it can be done via the bridge as well. This bass has been repeatedly referred to as "Fodera Quality" and is does very much deserve that title, the build of this bass is nothing short of outstanding. The carvings are just beautiful with recessed knobs, abalone side inlays, and hours of time spent shaping the unique style of the body, something I actually feel surpasses Fodera. Of course you are welcome to come and try this bass if you want; I'm based in Wickford, in Essex and am on 07912222127. My trade options are simple, Ideally I want all cash for this bass, however, I would be prepared to listen to trade option so long as I get at least £600 cash. I would do a deal for £600 cash and a bass to the value of £800, or something very close to that. I'm fairly open to trade options, below are a few options...

Music Man Stingray 5 string
Fender J or P 5 string
Anything Spector or Warwick (preferably 5 or 6 string)
Possibly anything 6 string
Anything else, TRY ME!!!
Also, see below a comment made by another basschatter regarding this bass... (Hope it’s OK to use this!) "I have no affiliation with the seller but having played this when Les had it in for service a few years back I can say with confidence that this bass is simply stunning. I don't think Les is building anymore but, having owned three Les Evans basses I'd have to say that they are on a par with anything I've ever played. The build quality is superb and his eye for detail (look at the fingerboard, the partial recessing of the control knobs etc.) elevated some of his builds to works of art. I also had the same combination of EMGs and East preamp (looks like a u-retro?) on a couple of the basses Les made for me and they sounded lovely. On this occasion the claim of Fodera league build quality is not seller's hyperbole - this bass is worth every penny of the seller's asking price and I would humbly suggest it might actually represent something of a bargain. I know I sound like I'm going over the top but when I saw this is Les's workshop I must have spent about ten minutes just looking at it before it even occurred to me to play it! This will make someone a very, very happy bunny." (Just as a note, the price the author of the above comment is referring to was £1750, as that was what the previous seller advertised the bass at, I am asking £1350) Please ask any questions at all, feel free to get in touch, come view the bass etc. etc. Let me know dudes! 8. Goddammit.... the only one of these pass-it-on things i had an interest in and its goes and gets nicked!
9. The bridge is a bit of a curiosity... If the bass was made and designed from a flat level bridge, would installing a bridge at an angle not throw off the intonation?
10. No interest in trades?? It doesnt state a yay or a nay either way on that one...
11. I would love this beast, it's exactlyy type of bass and would sit proudly in my collection, alas I think it will probably not be mine
12. I'll pretty much take any half decent offer on these as I wont ever use them so they might as well go!
13. Hi guys, I have a pair of barely used Squier Jazz Pickups from a Vintage Modified Jazz Bass. They are surplus and I only want £20 for the pair plus say £2 postage. The picture is 'stock' but mine obviously look identical... Seems fair I think. Each pickup has a decent amount of wire, and the both look pretty much as new. I'm on 07912222127 if you want to discuss anything. Russ.
14. I messaged you on facebook dude with an offer for you!

17. I've got some good trade bait i could offer for this man, are trades a possibility, and if so, what are you interested in? I have 2 very nice custom 6 string basses that might tempt you... Russ.

20. Love it. Always had a very strong urge to own one of these... dont suppose youd have any interest in a form of trade for various other 6 string basses??
21. I forgot to post the most important thing... £2600 is the asking price, which obviously doesnt take into account the Hendrix Story. £2600 for a 1968 strat with a 1982 neck seems fair considering 1968 strats are going for between £7000 and £10000 depending on condition.
22. Apologies more!!! You should be ashamed! The fret markers must be extravagent inlays made from decadent woods and precious metals!!! Pfff... Stickers... we expect diamond and platinum, not stickers!
