1. Forgot to mention that collection is also absolutely fine of course with a free cup of tea/coffee etc. upon collection!
2. Hi guys, I have two heavy duty flight cases, perfect for amp heads or studio gear etc. They have no rack mounts on the inside but the do have plenty of padding. One has a broken latch and has no foam on the bottom of the inside (£20) the other has working latches and foam on all of the inside (£25). Both have been well used and show plenty of signs of wear, but both are very sturdy and would probably survive a small nuclear explosion. Both would retail at over £100 so I think £25 for the good one and £20 for the broken latch one is fair. (£40 for both is fine too!). Dimensions are: External 44cm, 19cm, 50cm. Internal 35cm, 16cm, 46cm. They both are roughly 4u. I can send them, they are heavy so it'll probably be £10 a piece to send. I'm on 07912222127 and based in Wickford, Essex. Give me a shout if you want them! Russ.
3. My old bass indeed! A great bass, a reasonably early Sei Flamboyant with all the trimmings, it has great blue side LEDs too. Good luck with the sale man.
4. Touché sir... I'll be sure to trim the fat on my next description.
5.
Hi. I bought a 1965 Fender jazz from this seller almost 3 years ago. And the bass is amazing. You can trust this guy.
That being said and I'm sure the seller is nothing but genuine, I would still think when asking £7500 you could take the time to write a detailed description and post a fair amount of high-res pics covering all aspects of the bass. Probably would help the sale!
6. Interestingly ugly... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122428288244
7. Man you must live on eBay! 80% of these topics are started by you! A fine service to your fellow musician.
8. Indeed, after a full set up and pot cleaning session! There's a Spector LX6 thats come up that I have my eye on... So straight out the door with the Yammy!
9. They sold it cheap because half the electronics didn't work. As I suspected (and slightly gambled) the battery needed replacing and all is well. Needs a new set of strings but she plays very well and sounds meaty and Crisp. Lully stuff.
10. Well... That was a good deal! I had a good look at the Yammy, also had a good look at a 70's Ibanez Concord acoustic (a little tatty), paid £220 for both and got them to throw in the full Sopranos box set! A good days buying, cheers for the tip sir! Russ.
11. On my way there now to take a look... Will let you know if I grab it! Also... At the cash converters in Basildon town centre a few years ago I bought a Warwick Vampyre (the ones with the 5k price tag new) with serial number 001 for £700. You do grt the occassional steal from cash converters!
12. Not sure if anyone else has this issue, but when I open any photobucket link from my phone I instantly get spammed the crap out of... So I can't see these pics!
13. Smashing heads!
14. Can people please stop putting awesome 6 strings up for sale!!! At the moment I'd need somewhere in the realm of £50,000 to state my GAS.
15. Any trade options?
16. The guy seemed to genuinely not have a single clue about basses. He's now amended the title to simply read "Bass Guitar".
17. Awesome bass! Though I can't help but think the body looks like a chubby cat... Though I bet it's the best damn playing chubby cat out there!
18. I'm 80 miles away, I suggested perhaps a meet halfway, also he has a few other interesting guitars for sale of you check his other ads.
