1. Id trade for my ACG Finn... check it out in the for sale section...
2. No trades... no even for my ACG Finn? Tis for sale not too far from this thread... any temptation at all?
3. Yeah it is around 9.7lb I believe... I have only kitchen scales to weigh it with, but I believe them to be accurate. Is 9.7lb too much? It is a very comfortable bass to wear, with no neck dive either. Where are you based? Russ
4. Its only a shade over 9lb... cant be that much heavier than any other bass! Surely the beauty and quality etc etc is an excellent pro versus it being a few grams too heavy!
5. Well, if you wanted the bass, then I'm sure I could arrange something... I have a habit of driving stupid distances to ensure a smooth deal is had... If you're a buyer, then I could deliver in person for petrol costs. (Up to a max of 250 miles each way)

7. I tell you what, you're dead right! I'm in no epic rish to sell as this bass is simply stunning, looks and sounds outstanding. I'm not a 4 string player, but I am tempted to keep it... Currently still seeking cash plus trade or just cash offers... fresh strings, fresh batteries, fitted hiscocks case, strap locks, D-tuners, mint condition... What's not to like!
8. Right, I've just re-strung it with brand new Roto-Sound standard gauge strings and put in 2 brand new 9v batteries in so it is totally fresh and ready to rock! Someone snatch this up now!!!
9. Well 34" is only 3% longer than 33"! Will you actually fell the difference? I struggle to... but that just me! Tis an awesome bass mate... you know you want it!
10. The photos seem to appear as links when I look at my ad, not sure why but if they appear as links to you too then please click on the to see the bass! Thanks! Russ.
11. Hi Guys, Up for sale (possibly trade) here is my ACG Finn SC Classic 4 strings. Its the 37th Bass made by Alan and the 1st of this particular kind. It's simply an amazingly well crafted and beautiful bass with bags of tonal possibilities and looks to die for. The bass is in perfect mint condition, I did go over it very carefully and I cannot see a single blemish anywhere on it anywhere, not even a hint of buckle rash... there are no marking at all on this! It may as well be new. It is a Custom spec level ACG bass, it's a 4 string 34" scale bass with a 5 piece body made from stripy ebony/sycamore/wenge/sycamore/stripy ebony. The neck is a 7 piece made from mac ebony/sycamore/wenge/sycamore/wenge/sycamore/mac ebony. The fret board is perfect and plays beautifully, its an acryilic impregnated flame sycamore board with mac ebony binding. The pickups are 2 ACG RFB pickups with an ACG EQ01 pre-amp, this combination gives you amazing tonal possibilities, the ACG pre-amps are known for their tonal range, with the ability to tweak and expand certain frequencies to basically give you what ever sound and vibe you want. The tuners are Hipshot ultralite with a hipshot D-tuner fitted on the E string, though I will be including the original tuner so you can remove it if you want. The bridge is a Hipshot A type bridge, high mass and very solid. The bass is finished with an oil rub giving it a beautiful sheen. The bass comes with a custom fitted Hiscocks hardcase, again in mint condition and made specifically for this bass. There are the 2 locking keys in the case as well as the original tuner and also a set of Jim Dunlop strap locks. All in all this is a mint condition ACG custom bass with all the trimmings for sale at a fraction of the cost of a new one, with no wait and an amazing combination of beautiful woods. I'm selling this purely because I took it in trade, and as much as I love ACG's, I play 7 string bass and a 4 string just isn't enough for me! So it's on offer here to you guys. I'm on 07912222127so call if you have any questions at all, and I'm based in Wickford in Essex, viewing is welcome and collection is preferred though I can post if needed. TRADE DETAILS: The sale is set a £900 cash for the bass, the case, the strap locks and the additional tuner. I want to get at least £400 cash from this bass, so if you want to trade I'd want cash, plus a bass worth £500 at least. I'm open to options, so let me know what you got! The photos below are a combination of ACG stock photos, and ones I took this morning. The ones with the black background are stock, the rest are my photos from today! Russ. 13. 5-10 days or so. I will write a non bias review hopefully with some vids as well, so if its crap then I will certainly say so! Fingers crossed its gunna be a little gem of a find!
14. Hey man, well the total price including a hardcasecand shipping from the states was £575. So I guess you'd just need to minus the difference between the cost of a K7 and a K5. I'd guess it would be £480 or so including shipping and a hardcase.
15. I have a beautiful 6 string that I am looking at moving on. If you have cash to put towards it then maybe a part ex could be arranged...
16. That is a damn good price, and truthfully a little tempting as I had a spec euro 6 and sold it a year or so ago... Andy you do pose many tempting offers...
17. Yes it does, it is an amazingly well carved instrument, really a true masterpiece of an instrument. Shame theres minimal interest!
18. Yeah man I will definitely write a review as soon as I've got it in hand and played it for a bit! Watch this space...
