  1. I usually use them side by side, I feel because these cabs are tall and narrow they are a little unstable when stacked!
  2. Very nice. Love an old Ibanez.
  3. I've had a bit of a splurge on amps... I tend to go through fits and starts with this kind of thing and this last week has been a busy week of amp intakes! I picked up an Eden Metro 2x12 from here a week ago, I forgot how truly awesome these beasts are! Though they weigh the same as a small star... fantastic 'Rock' sound out of these... I also bought a PJB M300 and 8B cab, I truly love these cabs (already have an 8B cab I use with my MarkBass), probably the best sounding and most versatile cab I've played through. I wasn't so impressed with M300, a great sounding amp but a bit underpowered for me. And thirdly, after a partial trade with the aforementioned M300, I took delivery of two Aguilar DB112 cabs and a Tone Hammer 500. This is a superb rig, the head is remarkably light and powerful, the tone is varied and the EQ very useful. A top little rig. After getting rid of the M300 head, I used the 8B cab along side my other 8B cab and my MarkBass Multiamp Mono, this is simply excellent. Light, VERY powerful and hugely versatile, all the effects you could possible want and all controlled by a midi pedal that weights about 12 grams. Love this rig! So that's my current amp line up, the Aggie rigs the PJB/MB rig and the Eden combo. A great cross section of the amp world, all with their own merits but all fantasies things! No more amps for me for a while!
  4. Hi, I've got an Eden WTX260 that no longer works as it should. You turn it on, it all lights up, but no noise... That's about as much as I know! It doesn't have any major battle scars and will come with a rather generic 2 button Footswitch. These are great little amps when working! I'm hoping someone will get it going again, for me I don't have the time nor inclination to do so, therefore it's up for grabs. £50 collected from Basildon in Essex, or £58 posted anywhere in the UK. Pics to follow. Cheers, Russ.
  5. GAK are selling the same pre-amp at over £1800, Thomann at a shade over £500... You could get the full rig with both cabs for £1500 or so, seem remarkably cheap!
  6. @ltownbass Stick an ad in the Items Wanted section... I was after an Yamaha TRB6JP1 (The 6 string Orange John Patitucci model) a few days ago and as of this morning I now have one sitting in my lounge!
  7. I just don't understand people that do that! What's the benefit?? Unless, I suppose, they had one of those £1 sellers fee offers and wanted to secure the offer but didn't have pictures etc. Other than that, inexcusable!! Lol
  8. I just texted the chap to tell him there's a few people waiting on a response! He still has it FYI.
  9. Would you sell the 210 separately?
  10. I can't see much online about Lunar basses, does the luither have a website?
  11. What kind of trades are you looking for? 4, 5, 6, 7 string etc?
  12. From personal experiance, I'd use that money to tour a few basses... With the exception of Fodera (massively overpirced in my humble opinion, but they do keep their residual value quite well) you could buy two VERY nice high end basses second hand from here, Reverb, eBay etc. and try them out for a few months, then sell them on and try a few more until you really find what you're looking for, once you've honed in on what you want you can then confidently buy your perfect bass. ACG are great instruments, I'd also put a vote in for a USA Conklin though I'm not sure what you'd get for 3K as they are pricey beasts! Overwater make superb basses too. You could probably find a Wal somewhere for circa 3K, they keep excellent value and sell quickly. Unless you know EXACTLY what you want, I'd lean away from custom made and definitely look at pre-owned, why spend 3, 4, 5, 6+ grand on a bass when you can buy it pre-loved for a third of the cost! Happy hunting sir, let us know what you get!
  13. Also PM'd
  14. I have a set of these installed in a Cort A6 bass, a serious upgrade to the Bartolini MK-1 pickups that were stock installed. Excellent pickups!
  15. Where abouts are you based?
