I'll be sporting mine next Saturday at the [url="http://www.ukguitarshows.co.uk/"]Great British Guitar Show[/url] .

I generally stick with the original unless it's beyond me and then I will simply it, sometimes I might add a few 5ths/octaves in to spice it up if it's simple but certainly nothing extravagant !

Recently i've been getting massively into blues - specifically Steve Ray Vaughan, BB King, Joe Bonamassa and George Thorogood. A lot of it is predictable to listen to - but I just love it.

I will however bring some non cack-handed instruments so I don't feel totally freaked out.

I drive past the Jaydee workshop daily and it still amazes me how a scabby looking industrial unit can make some of the most famous basses in the world.

Squier Bronco for me and no regrets. It was short scale which was something I didnt know when I bought it !

Ah that explains it then . That's pretty much the sound i'm trying to get from mine but it's just too bright at the moment (and cutting the treble muffles the mids too much).

I haven't bought anything on eBay via an uction or from an individual for years. Having been faffed about a few times by NPBs and foreign buyers I got fed up. I now only buy from shops via Buy-It-Now and never have a problem.
