Yeah ask of the admins.. oh.
2. Mmmm, I think I prefer the turquoise one, want want !
3. For the love of God, please - sort out those fingermarks !
4. A bump on this.
5. D'Addario EXL (Nickel) are my favourite. PMT wanted £35 for a 5 string set - I remember buying some online for £15 a couple of years ago (same website now £20) ! Oddly I didn't take the plunge in PMT. Rotos i've also decided I hate, they may have some big name endorsees - but they don't have to pay for a new set when they go dead after a couple of weeks do they ? I put some Warwick Reds (the cheap ones) on my Fender Jazz, and to be honest - they're actually pretty good. I think they were £11 for a set, can't argue with that. I wish I were in the position to try lots of different strings, but they're too expensive to try out so I stick with what I know.
6. Ideal for home recording over gigging, just not really using it anymore for anything but a headphone preamp ! Comes with gig bag, adapter and foot pedal (as per pic). In full working order and 8/10 condition (minor scratching). Full specs here: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/LX1B.aspx Stock pic as per mine, will take a pic on request: New these are £78 (GAK), this one is yours for £50 inc P&P ! Any questions please let me know.
7. If only it were wanting that was the issue, a lack of £450 is more the problem here !
8. This instrument is not new as you are the first owner and selling it on ! As new would be the appropriate description. On topic - these are quality instruments, I had one and it was a class act.
9. Have been GASing for one of these for years, this one looks a minter ! Have a free bump.
10.
are you thinking of ones like this ? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=91855&hl=
Yes.
11. Limiting the dimensions of linked images is the main issue, not sure how that can be worked around without disallowing them entirely.
12. Personally I think MythSte should sort his signature out .
13. Just to add extra kudos to this bass, I have played it.
14. Those Vintages have been out a few years, Fender aren't really like other big names with their rights protection and don't seem to see it as much of a threat. I've played a couple and was fairly underwhelmed.
15. I've done plenty of trades on the forum, but always face to face. If this isn't feasible i'd suggest you check the reputation of the seller through tracking their post history, have they sold to people before etc ? Has anyone created a thread about them in the Feedback forum ? If not, you really have to ask yourself if you trust this person based on your dealings with them so far, alas if you have reservations - it's best to let it go. If you do encounter problems however, we as moderators can attempt to mediate on any dispute, but cannot guarantee we will provide a result as we do not take any responsibility for transactions made by people on the forum. .
16. Ergh, they've overegged the pudding for sure.
17. I had a 5 string for a year or so, it was great but in the end I wanted something else. Definitely top quality and lots of tones to be had from it though.
18. Ibanez should reissue them - i'd be after one if they did.
19. Yes, otherwise there's nothing to stop someone with a vendetta against someone discrediting anything they put up for sale and claiming it's for the community's good. This does not apply however to any equipment suspected as misrepresented or fraudulent in which case we would request the post is reported to a moderator.
20. Please keep pricing comments to PM (even if they are intended as helpful), it is the sellers prerogative to choose the price at wish to sell, supply and demand will determine if an item sells it or not, thanks .
21. Yeah they're good for some cheapo bits, met the owner at Music Live and he was more than willing to chat for a bit. Not sure what they necks would be like - but you have The Distance Selling Act on your side.
22. Here's a review I did last year http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=39226
23. All of my bass face pics include a Stingray also, there is a worrying trend here.
24. I started on guitar aged 18, got a bass a few months later (Squier Bronco) just because I liked the sound of it, still got that same guitar but have been through a lot of basses in the time since ! I've not really improved on guitar in the last 4 years but have significantly on bass.
25. Had my Venus 5 a few months now and the new bass nostalgia still hasn't worn off like it did with others.. it really is a cracking piece of kit. Would post some pics but i'm at work .
