2. You have to do this for the love of it. An if it aint fun then its dead in the water just my opinion I did the same I just put up with all the crap of missing practices for one reason or another. in the end we feel apart it just has to be fun
  3. That's guys I will keep my eyes peeled then eBay sounds the best option if the bass centre are abit crap. I hate it when they sell u items not in stock. Gak have done that to me before now
  4. Thats my weakness to gadgets! I think it would be handy because when i play with my mates its always drop tunning but at home I always play in standard. I didnt know if £85 was a little steep
  5. Just been looking at the Hipshot BT1 and just wondered if anyone had a opinion on them if they are worth the money that the bass centre sell tham at, at £85 or if anybody knows a cheaper place if they are worth my hard earned notes£££ http://www.basscentre.com/d-tuners/hipshot-bt1.html

    Hello!

    hello and welcome
  7.
Where's PMT? I've only been bothering with Johnny Roadhouse lately. Welcome aboard btw.
http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/pmtonline/ Here's the web site quite a big shop aswell good selection of gear
  8.
Naah, tho I have been in on the odd occasion. There aren't many music shops left in Manchester these days, so you might've seen me in one of them.
you right I only go to PMT really I dernt go in dawsons abit expensive for me ive heard
  9.
Hi Mate, If by your local shop you mean PMT, bear in mind they've got a 4003 in there for an eye-watering £1999, so they're not exactly cheap. It does look very nice, though, and, like folk round here who know more than me, I've never heard of or seen a Tribute 1500. It's certainly worth a look, anyway. Muzz
yeah PMT. Do You work there you pic looks familier? 2K is outta my price range with the order of the stingray at £1360. but i thought that this was well worth a look tbh ive only just heard of G&L in may because while on my honeymoon in may to california i tried to get a sting ray over there for cheaper but to find it in the colours i wanted was a needle in a haystack and a guy in obispo mention g&l an told me about the history and have since bought the george fulerton book an being that ive got to fenders i thought g&l could only be on par if not better than fenders
  10.
Hi ya mate, welcome to Basschat. That's a nice looking bass. Offer him £550.
haha I'd feel well cheeky doing that it was on a buy it now on ebay for £799 with a make a offer option but ive been watching it for 3 months since I ordered the stingray an it hasnt gone yet so i talked him into taking it off ebay untill friday untill ive been and had a look thought id done well to get £150 off the asking price. tbh i have no idea how much these go for 2nd hand but in my local guitar shop they have a usa ASAT at £1700 which made me think the 650 was a bit of a no brainer and should snap his hand off. Would you guys say its good value. I mean in my local guitar shop ive played the tribute L200 an did think it was nice but i guess it comes down to personal taste but i just dont wanna get ripped off buying a guitar through ebay because £650 is the dearest thing i will of bought on ebay. thanks for the reply seems like a good forum site glad i came across it
  11.
Did they do any Tribute 1500s ? I thought it was the twin pickup versions only. EDIT: See here for model list - http://www.glguitars.com/Tribute/instruments/index.asp. That tells me a L1500 has to be a USA version. It will say Tribute on the headstock if it is one by the way
Thanks yeah must be a usa then here a few pics its got a head stock pic in there to hope am not disapointed on thursday. all though the wife will be overjoyed if i come home without it
  12.
Should say on the bass where it's made.
cheers pete
