1. Hi guys, I'm pretty new but thought i'd put this on here before I throw it to the wolves on eBay Unfortunately I'm having to sell my stack due to space constraints at my house and my band splitting up - believe me, I'm typing through tears haha Hartke LH500 Bought the amp in March 2010 and it's never let me down. I've played about ten gigs with it and a lot of practices but it's still running like a dream and is in great condition. There is a slight scratch on the front where I unfortunately slipped with the screwdriver while taking the amp out of the case one time, but it's barely visible. Been playing my Epiphone Blackbird through it and the sound is amazing. I like to have the Bass knob on about 3-4, Mid on 8 and the Treble around 2-3 and it gives a beautiful warm but punchy tone. The case is included in the price for free (It's a standard Maplin 2U rackmount case which I cut a bit off to match the depth of the cab), but it is entirely optional. I still have the feet for the amp if you don't want it but there's one screw missing. Asking around £200 for the amp Hartke 410XL This was also bought March 2010. I've always run the LH500 through it myself, but it's been to 2-3 gigs where my friend in another band has used a HA3500 through it. I did install castors on it which I've sinced removed so there are screw holes underneath, but nothing to affect the performance. There's a bit of discolouration on the front grille as well and the 'XL Series' logo is a bit dinted, but again, the cab works perfectly and sounds fantastic. Asking around £150 for the cab May be able to come to a deal about pickup/postage/couriers etc. I'm also willing to hear any offers for the whole stack but you'd definitely have to collect it. You're more than welcome to have a play/deafen my obnoxious neighbours!
2. I play through a Hartke LH500 (which is 500W at 4 Ohms and 350W at 8 Ohms) through a 410XL cab (which is 8 Ohms and a maximum of 400W), therefore, the amp is only running at 350W and there's no chance of blowing the amp/cab Now, if I decided to get another 410XL and put it in parallel with the other one, which would reduce the resistance to 4 Ohms across both cabs, does this mean that a) 500W are going into each cab and they're likely to blow OR 250W are going into each cab and it's safe. If it's option b, is it exactly the same as buying an 810XL which is a single cabinet with a maximum of 800W at 4 Ohms? Would really like to know before I go shelling out for an 810XL, cheers.

4. My name's Joe, currently playing a Vintage Metal Axxe Wraith through a Hartke LH500. I've been playing for a Hull heavy metal/thrash band called Iron Harvest for about 8 months now. Came on here mainly to check out the sales/trades but will be nice to chat to some fellow UK bassists
5. Hey all, I'm currently selling my Vintage Metal Axxe Wraith, thought I'd pitch it to the right audience It's 4 string, active pick-ups (1 bridge, 2 neck) and 24 frets. It's 3 years old, and cosmetically it's in great shape apart from a slight chip at the bottom of the body under the control knobs where I walked into my guitarist on stage... schoolboy error. Pics show it anyway. Plays like a dream yet I'm selling it because I'm after a Thunderbird. Recently been fitted with new Rotosound strings and a new 9V battery too. I'm based in Hull in East Yorkshire so ideally anyone in the Yorkshire area is within easy reach but all are welcome Looking for around £120 but make me an offer and I'll think about it!
