im sorry, but how was that terrible?? ok its not mine/your cup of tea, but it was far from terrible...
I didn't like it either, but I bet you I couldn't play that well. Some people assume if they don't like something then it must be rubbish.
2. Has anyone ever accidentally sat on their bass ?

Hello

Brno has a great race circuit .
4. Do you work for them or something ?
5. Ah, so you didn't actually sell it for the first price.. no fun.
6. Looks like this won't last long !
So lets say i did get ripped off somehow, what could i do to get my money back?
As a website, we accept no responsibility for transactions that take place on this website - it is the buyer/sellers responsbility to be satisfied a transaction is kosher. If something does go wrong, we can act as mediators if required, however make no guarantees for any situation to be resolved to the satisfaction of the complainent .
8. I'm terrible for it. I will also make a sweeping judgement on the owner of the equipment before they've even plugged it in .
9. I've decided too that bands aren't for me anymore - the disappointment and hassle of other people became too much. Now, I just want to better myself as a player and am content jamming to tracks through headphones at home. There was a point last year where I got bored of playing for months - then picked up my electric guitar and reignited everything again. Since then i've been giving myself lots to do (guitar and bass) and I don't envisage it falling away again. I don't think you need to give up on bass just because you've had enough of bands.
10. As can be seen from Kuetsum's comprehensive response - all is well . He has replied to me in PM with some detail that makes me happy that he is not a chancer and has had plenty of history on talkbass. JimBobTTD's opinion on the situation has been duly noted.
11.
The remote location should have nothing to do with it. Let's not stoop down to the xenophobic level of thinking that everyone on the other side of the world is trying to cheat Westerners.
I agree, however - the seller has made no previous posts. Would you prefer moderators to show zero interest in potential scammers ? I have currently no reason to suggest kuetsum is dishonest, however his profile has simply enough factors for me to query him (remote location, first post, website pictures). If I am satisfied he is in possession of the basses (and that alone) then I will gladly say so.

Allo

Hi and welcome. I always thought anyone who loved Guitar Hero should do it properly ! Personally i'd go for the Squier started pack - the Epiphone is fairly limited in it's tones.
Why don't people just play lighter?
It's a bit like frets, why don't people just play in tune ?

The idea is it regulates how much you can dig into the string and makes you play 'lighter'. That's my interpretion anyway...
17. I don't think I could do it. I love the fact i've got a few hanging around with different looks, feel and characteristics. Nobody needs lots, but it's a luxury I couldn't forgo !
18. It all depends on what you want from the bass. All of the ones you listed will have a good slap tone, which of these to go for is your prerogative.
19. Hi TheGreek, just to let you know you don't need to format your post to the center . Looks like a nice bass - has a Jaydee vibe to it. Certainly not seen any more on this forum but a few on talkbass, could you be one of the only UK owners ? .
20. Not far from Scott Arms for me .
21. Damn it, just looked at the Shuker website at some of the new models... need some anti-GAS medication.
22. Personally i've played a lot of custom/high end basses and been impressed with them, but not so much that i'd buy one. My Bacchus is of a very high quality and bordering on boutique (but not custom) and 2nd hand would cost about £800 which is crazy (£1500 or so new). There have been very few boutique basses however I've actually been wooed by enough to want one. Perhaps a couple of Vigiers and Roscoe - but not for those price tags ! That said, if I had money to burn i'd be down all the UKs different custom shops getting an order in.
