WITHDRAWN

Is it USA made ? I'd hazard a guess at £600 to start off, although to someone it's rarity and condition might add more value.
2. A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... Basschat was started from the dying embers of a defunct Bassworld website. The forum software there was out-of-date (lots of corruptions and outages) and the then owner refused to upgrade it (through absence/apathy). In early 2007, Crazykiwi and ped decided to jump ship and start up a 2nd site with better software and support, pretty much all users followed us over. Initially the user database was migrated over until the original owner complained, no big deal to start again though. I was a moderator on the old site but don't remember it that well ! It was a funny colour though and I think it had a Warwick at the top. There's a lot of people on here from back then but I remember when there was less than 1000 members on here... how times change ! Decisions on site rules/strategies are made by a panel of moderators and admins, suggestions are debated and voted upon. Donations are to cover hosting/bandwidth overheads only, this is also aided by the Google ads. However, we as admins/mods don't get paid and ped (as the current owner) also does not dib into the kitty except when he needs some new high heels.
3. I've only had positive experiences. They have however always been with well established members..
4. Moved to For Sale Forum.
5. I pulled mine, maybe we can persuade this chap to keep his too .
6. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=82230 Knock yourself out .
7. Thanks for the suggestion, however i'm not sure that there is enough of a problem to warrant this solution. Also, we are currently planning an upgrade to the forum software which would be a higher priority than this .
8. Just listened to that MP3. Can you get bleach for your ears ?
9. A parallel fretted instrument ? Heresy ! Great pics, looks like you had fun. What was the verdict ?
10. Rather than think of the 65 basses as worst to best list, I see it as a list of top basses to try out at some time. I'm glad that i've got or had 4 of the top 10 in the list .
11. Lots of other Birmingham bassists on here, welcome .
12. Yeah here it is on the right next to the standard model:
13. Yep you're late to the party http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=82230
14.
This Blonde version is legit, no photopokery...
I'd take this fairly seriously .
15. Fantastic, the colour of the original Squier puts me off but this is awesome.
16. Hi welcome to the forum. Please see our For Sale Guidelines and once you're familiar with them - you can post in the For Sale section here. There's a subforum for basses, amps, effects and misc equipment .
17. You have to compare the Ash Corvette to the $$ rather than the Bubinga one. They're the same in neck and body wood but the $$ has more complex electronics. It has 2 humbuckers with coil taps for each pickup. You will likely get a more aggressive sound from it. Both will still have the signature Warwick sound however .
18. Nice, just like mine before I defretted and refnished it (badly) a few years ago. Nostalgia in place .
19. I think a lot of GAS in general is down to familiarity. After you've had something a while you get used to it and it becomes predictable. Half the fun of getting something new is playing with it to see what it can do - after having the same amp for a while, it can become boring. Same with basses really - just the differences are less pronounced with new amps.
20. Don't think I could get anything on credit again, psychologically it's a burden.
21. Wow that was quick ! Only round the corner from me as well.
22. Yes, I nearly stupidly sold it though ! Common sense has now prevailed. As for this one - it's construction is flawless and it is a definite super-jazz. It'd wipe the floor with a US Fender and needs a permanent home ! Tone and playability are top notch, I only passed it on as a Jazz bass wasn't what I was looking for tonally in the long term. The price is very fair also.
23. Still lookin' good I see. Thumbs up from me for leprechaun - he sent me his Overwater before I could post this to him .
24. Website doesn't mention anything about cancellation, got a source or reason why ?
25. I sense a proper reply coming.
