  1. Here’s an exclusive look at the brief for these new Fenders:
  2. Both GHS sets gone - only the Joe Osborns remaining.
  3. Stinks of top-quality scam.
  4. I'll be on about 90 by the time the year is out. I don't like sitting around the house much 😄
  5. HOLY THREAD REVIVAL! The DVD is out soon. Here's a trailer.
  6. Felt the same way when I saw him in Newcastle in 2002. Not even his great band (including Jim Keltner) could save it.
  7. Strange how they lack so much cred, yet they're key to a big chunk of Eminem's success.
  8. One set of GHS Precision Flats sold. Other two sets remaining.
  9. It’s a bit of a mutt alright..!
  10. What do you like about it?
  11. My old one, about 10 years ago. It's a beaut.
  12. £35 per set, posted. Unused Lakland Joe Osborn flatwounds for sale - no longer made. The packaging is a bit tatty (they've been rattling around my gig case as spares), but strings are uncoiled and as-new.
  13. I absolutely concur.
  14. I suspect they don't give a monkey's.
  15. I'm getting studio on both..!
  16. I've not had this happen to me on Apple Music. When I play the original mix of the Brown Album, it just skips Cripple Creek... it doesn't substitute it...?
  17. Strange.. I find the opposite (see example above).
  18. No probs. It’s a much nicer mix than the original, too.
  19. Looks like a licensing blip. It’s all present and correct on the 2019 reissue. https://music.apple.com/gb/album/the-band-deluxe-edition-remixed-2019/1481114206
  20. Thanks! Yep, Hotel California is a lesson in restraint. It’s a long pattern, and if you deviate it jumps right out.
  21. Cheers, all! I’ve never rehearsed so much for anything in my life. I grew up with The Eagles in my DNA. I thought I knew all the ins-and-outs of all the arrangements, but when it came to it… turns out I was wrong. There’s so many little details and surprises hidden away in those songs. We’re lucky in that we’re blessed with a great Don & Glen, and everyone in the band is great crack. It’s good fun.
