  1. Lovely bass, and you've still got great hair. You swine. GLWTS
  2. Cheers! *shameless plug alert*
  3. Bootleg Eagles. Fairly new on the block.
  4. Eagles tribute show in Newcastle... a great venue, but a big space with a very high domed ceiling. A great house PA, engineer and lots of punters mitigated any issues. Lots more shows coming up with these chaps. I absolutely love it.
  5. MODERATOR MODE /ON Hi all If you're interested in buying the bass, please contact the OP. If you're not, scroll on.
  6. Aye, it’s clearly a mutt. Just wondering how - if it’s a Hondo - they let it out of the door with those routes.
  7. They look aligned on the Hondo, but the OP bass looks like a frown...?
  8. The string-through routes don't look factory, though..!
  9. My God I hate all this so much.
  10. *cough* Maruszczyk configurator *cough*
  11. Me neither. Music for people who think they like music.
  12. The Old Time Sailors made my stomach turn the first time I laid eyes on them. I feel vindicated.
  13. If it was a choice between £20 every few weeks for rounds, or £50 every decade for flats, I know what I would (and do) choose 😆
  14. Curious that the RI tuners are notched both sides..... 🤔
  15. I don’t think notched on the treble side is a thing in that era - just reissues?
  16. Based on nothing but a hunch, I'm inclined to agree.
  17. This is all very interesting stuff. I honestly thought the notch was a commonly known thing, but having Googled it… apparently not(ch).
  18. First one I looked at does 😃 https://reverb.com/uk/item/87116534-1964-fender-precision-bass-pre-cbs-vintage-bass-sherwood-green-riggio-w-paperwork-case
  19. Mixed sets? Got any examples?
  20. I haven’t seen many / any with a combination of plates. Always matching.
