2.
Ozzy Osbourne in a kilt? Each to their own
Aww... you've spoiled it for me.
3.
I was the one that suggested it.................................. as a solution if he wants to keep the sticker. Personally I've never bought a new Fender and never will, I let other people take the hit on the depreciation. The sticker would never be an issue for me
Sorry.. I didn't hear a word. I'm too busy gazing at your avatar.
4. I'm amazed people are suggesting you swap the pickguard to preserve the sticker. Really, I am... astonishing.
5.
rip it off, throw it away and start playing!!
..is the right answer!
6. I play fretless sometimes... I'm more fretless P than Jaco honk, though.
7. Lookin' good! If I may be pedantic: http://overwaterbasses.com/basses/j-series/ Overwaters' take on 'traditional' electric bass design Should read: Overwater's take on 'traditional' electric bass design

9. Here's another of the drummer and I working through some changes during the soundcheck... lovin' the Streamliner!
10.
My Missus just came in as I was sending my last reply - I said "you've just got to hear this, brilliant, something haunting and retro about it". She listened too the track and said "yes, I really like it; and I bet the singer is good looking " - please just tell me that he isn't . Oggy
Thanks, man! Is Phil Good looking? I dunno... not for me to say. He's definitely in good nick for an old bloke. Here's some more clips with the H2.
11. I recorded this weekends gigs at The Live Theatre in Newcastle with my Zoom H2. It's a great bit of kit. Here's a bass-player's-eye view of the encore. I pulled out the P after a few months on my J... I love the P so much. And here's some audio-only of a couple of songs...
12.
I can't imagine why anyone would need a carry bag for one of these.
Wot 'e sed.
13. Here's a song recorded on my Zoom H2 from last night's gig. It was loud, and the lows were very subby, but I think it's done a decent job...
14.
Hi, I've been contemplating getting one of these to control unwanted boom on hollow stages. Having read a couple of posts on here I am getting concerned that because I am only using one small cab a bergantino AE112 I wil lose a lot of umph and wanted bass coupling. Any thoughts I was convinced up until reading this as there are hundreds of good reviews. Any thoughts?
If there's an occasion where you're losing umph and need bass coupling, take it out from under your cab. Fixed in five seconds. I use mine all the time, even if I'm using a single 2x10, and all I notice is tighter, more defined bass. Not less of it...
15. Just get the first one.
16. That's it.. I'm going to bed. Someone wake me up when we get a modern soul voice worthy of shining this guy's shoes...
17. If I could be arsed, I'd throw a rock at the telly right now. This bloke is rotten. Who the flip is he?
18.
Actually...saw a version he did of Reet Petite on Later and it was pretty damn good. I think his material is pretty average ..from a song writing POV, but as an artist he is far from alone in that respect. but his voice is way better than his catalogue. IMO, of course. I am trying to think who would be one of the modern great soul voices to compare him with though... male, that is. Luther V..?? modern..?? ???
I just think his voice is really limited... good band, though. Modern soul? Flip knows who else is in the running... I'm so out of the loop. I do know that if he's one of the best, we're in trouble...
19.

Both of these fellas can sing better than Cee Lo Green.
20. Or... hang on a couple more years and go for something in Stratoburst...
21. The man on the telly has just called Cee Lo Green 'One of the great modern day soul voices'. Now, my knowledge of modern music isn't great, but Jesus... is he the best we can do? Tell me it ain't so... I like his outfit, though. Fair play to him for wearing that.
22.
Someone bought an original '61 Strat in to our shop. As soon as it was plugged in you could hear how much better it sounded. As a bass player I hate the back pickup on Strats, but this was fat and smooth - no harshness whatever. The whole sound and tone was just amazing.
It would be interesting to know if it sounded like that in '61, wouldn't it? Or, could the pickups have mellowed with age, or something...?
23. To answer the OP... IMO, they don't.
24. I had a sparkly back one with gold hardware. It was the closest thing I could find to Geddy's Wal. Eeeeh.... happy days.
25.
I see he has put the frets back in his bass - intonation problems maybe?
Nah - he fancied a bass that matched his troosers...
