  1. The most important thing is the reason why they wouldn't consider going, I think. IMO they're still valid comments.
  2. For example..?
  3. I dunno. I see a common theme of too much noise, for starters.
  4. Also known as customers giving feedback 😄
  5. Epic head. GWTS.
  6. 1. Same DI, just as good 🙂 2. On the WB-100? Just like any other tube head, so : Set it to standby Power it up Wait a minute or so If you're ready to play, switch it out of standby, wait for the logo to change to green, and off you go When you're not using it, switch it back to standby When you're ready to pack up, switch it to standby, wait for the logo to switch to red, and power it down All this is basically to preserve tube life.
  7. Yeah, when he goes high it sounds like a DI'd nylon strung 6-string guitar from the 1990s.
  8. Fantastic news 🙂 Leszek is a very conscientious guy. Buy with confidence.
  9. I’m exhausted just reading that. I do whatever I usually do through the day, then put my stuff in the car and go to the gig.
  10. It's only happened to me once, but it still hurts to this day.
  11. HandBox WB-100. 120 watts of valve heft - yes, heft - in a small, relatively lightweight box.
  12. IMO they look like a Skegnesse rip-off.
  13. I do that with my belly. I can basically adjust the bass' natural EQ on the fly.
  14. God that clip falls short of my already low standards. Thanks for bringing it to my attention 😄
  15. You haven't heard any of mine then... 🙂
  16. No, I mustn't have.
  17. Yeah. The difference being I've played heavy basses which sound great, but I've yet to play a Class D that does (IMO etc.) 😄
  18. OK. I've been playing bass for 30 years. Heavy ones, light ones. Some have sounded authoritative, rich and ballsy. Some sounded like lettuce leaves being thrown at a bean bag. There's been absolutely no correlation with regards to weight. The ones I have now are on the lighter side, and they sound like the former. That's my take on it.
  19. I think you're the one with some explaining to do 🙂
  20. You haven't heard any of mine, then. One of my bands is currently doing 2 x 1hr+ sets. I'd be permanently bent double if I'd used heavyweights.
  21. As I mentioned above, that's unfortunate. The OP missed the opportunity to buy a bass... in this very specific - unusual? - set of circumstances. This wouldn't be the outcome every time. In your other example, the musicians (yes, multiple), lost income. This would be the outcome every time. We're still in apples-and-oranges territory.
  22. That's a very unfortunate outcome. I appreciate your frustration. Another will come along, no doubt.
  23. A different scenario with similar principles, but completely different outcomes. I don't think I could have been more specific...?
  24. That's exactly my point.
