Feel sorry for anyone trying to sell pretty much any squier / budget bass second hand for the next few months tbh... -
40th Anniversary Precision £259 at Thomann!

Ahh, feck it. Ordered the Seafoam jazz. I may end up taking the neck off it and putting it on my P bass, which is how I've justified buying the pretty thing to myself... -

I want one of these so much, but I really can't justify another P or J flavoured bass 🙃 -

Hey guys I bought this kit and then decided to just buy a Thumpinator. Kit is still "as it comes" - has the enclosure (which needs drilling) and all the bits. £12 posted ***SOLD*** "The MINI-HP-VONG is the little brother of the VONG filter. It has a 1M input buffer and an adjustable second order high-pass filter (-12dB/oct.). The cut-off frequency can be adjusted continuously between 30 Hz and 140 Hz. This kit is a creation by Schalltechnik_04 in cooperation with Musikding.de . "

Pros - it's a classic boss, inexpensive, built like a tank, has two band EQ, and a dry blend. Very easy to understand. Cons - it's definitely a distortion and not an overdrive. The lowest gain setting is pretty dirty - this is my main complaint. Its also a bit noisy, presumably because its so high gain.

Sine Effects HPF and LPF pedals (and EQ stuff too)
uncle psychosis replied to fretmeister's topic in Effects
I'm trying to decide between one of these and a thumpinator. The thumpinator appeals because of the simplicity and the fact it has a known pedigree. But it also costs quite a lot more than this which makes the decision harder... -
Leaked: Fender Vintera II series...hoooo boy.

Its a safe assumption that the US ones will be getting a price hike, I should think. -

You didn't get rid of that Vintage, did you? 😲

How much do the neck profiles vary on BB basses? I seem to remember my old BB414 was closer to a J neck than a P, but are they all like that?

Picked this up from a very nice man on here a few months ago but as much as I love it a proper chunky P neck like this just doesn't work for me like a Jazz does. MIM Vintera Precision - Seafoam Green. Has had an Aguilar 60's pickup and a Ki0gon loom fitted. Lovely flame on the neck. Willing to discuss trades and can add cash for the right thing. Cash on collection from Burntisland in Fife or I can meet you in Edinburgh during the week (I commute via Haymarket). £650 ***SOLD***

An American rock band who, in the age of streaming, have sold about ten million albums and who sell out arena tours worldwide. This forum isn't half obtuse sometimes.

Fender Tidepool - what colour is it really? (see comparison pics)
uncle psychosis replied to ikay's topic in Bass Guitars
I also have one, and I agree this is a good photo. Its really difficult to get it accurate! I'm possibly selling mine, but if I don't I'm definitely going for a black three-ply scratch plate like @Happypants. Looks amazing.
