  1. Have acquired far too many pedals recently so got to make some room. Trades wise - I fancy some Way Huge pedals - particularly a Red Llama / Camel Toe / Supa Puss. But others interest me too. Prices include postage. Way Huge Supa Puss delay. Boxed. £155 Phenomenal delay pedal, but I don't use delay enough to justify having this lying around. 2. Ha. If anyone wanted to be really, really, really, unhelpful they'd tell me which Mustang models have J necks too...
  3. Mustang fans, how close do they get to P sounds? For *reasons* I'd quite like something to cover that ballpark but without it being a long scale P.
  4. As a Christmas treat to myself I learned the bass part to Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by the Jackson 5. Killer line, and a lot of fun. Merry Christmas!
  5. Added a Function F(x) Clusterfuzz Pics of that here: https://imgur.com/a/AD8uQ9o

  9. Hi folks I have decided to part ways with my P bass - I have begrudgingly accepted my role as a Jazz man This is a Fender Player series Precision bass in tidepool blue. Bought new by me in 2020 (I think) and well looked after. I changed the wiring loom to a Ki0gon one but other than that the guitar remains as stock. Tidepool is quite difficult to photograph, its got a slight metallic nature so it changes a bit with the light. Hopefully I've captured it quite well but please ask for more pics. I can potentially post this at cost but would vastly prefer local pickup. COMPLETE GALLERY HERE: https://imgur.com/a/w8EfLte £500 collected ***SOLD*** I'm not really after trades at all but a Boss GT-1000 or GT-1000-Core in part-ex would definitely tempt.
  10. Still really enjoying my SFG Jazz, but a bit of tinkering has definitely revealed where Squier cut the corners. I've replaced the pickups and the wiring loom with some Dimarzios / Ki0gon gear and it was a really frustrating experience tbh. The holes for the control plate (and for the pickups themselves) seem to be positioned right on the edge of tolerance so I had a hell of a time getting everything lined up. And whilst I was in there I realised that the pickup cavities (particularly for the neck pickup) were a bit of a mess. I also suspect the pickup cavities are cut slightly too deep because I am probably going to need more foam to get the bridge pickup adjusted right. Now, I'm not really complaining---the basic bass cost £259 for goodness sake---but its almost reassuring to see the difference between this and my more expensive basses. Next up will be to replace the strings but I'm not quite sure what for yet.
  11. EBS Bass IQ in good used condition £120 posted Been on a bit of a filter odyssey recently. This is a fantastic filter---probably my favourite of the envelope filters I've tried---but I've concluded that I prefer wah. PS realised i have the box for this too.
  12. @silverfoxnikbought some pedals from me, friendly messages and no hassles. Many Thanks!
  13. Picked this up recently because I wanted to try it out but its not really for me. Boxed, in VGC. £85 posted.

  15. Boss BB1x in good used condition. Bit of velcro on the bottom. £80 posted ***SOLD*** Picked this up recently but not to my tastes really. Magnetic Effects Sandare. Boxed. £95 posted Pretty cool overdrive/boost/EQ No trades. Thanks
  16. Pretty sure I got a pickguard for my Vintera jazz from earlpilanz on ebay. I'd be amazed if he doesn't do a P equivalent.
  17. My jazz arrived on Friday but I was away from home so I've only managed to spend fifteen minutes with it this evening. First impression - it's gorgeous, although the tint on the neck is a little bit on the donald trump side. The satin finish is lovely and the neck feels great. Electronics all work fine, although the balance across the strings needs sorting out, the pickup heights are obviously not quite right. I'm probably going to change the pickups to some dimarzios but I could easily work with what's in here. There's also an annoying sympathetic resonance when I play the third fret of the D string, i think this is just the E string resonating thanks to a peculiarity of the setup and it will go away when I set the relief, action, and strings to my liking but it did have me worried for a minute! You should always take first impressions with a pinch of salt but £259 brand new seems like a ridiculous deal to be honest.
  18. Pink is my favourite colour and I love Paisley / floral patterns.... ...but that, there, is a monstrosity. All of the individual elements are OK but the combination is all wrong.
  19. Feel sorry for anyone trying to sell pretty much any squier / budget bass second hand for the next few months tbh...
