I've got Jamerson flats on my stock 2007 Jazz. The intonation on the E is fine but the saddle is back as far as it goes and just the slightest of movement on the tuning peg, even a stern look, and it goes sharp/flat. It's not much of a problem for me but knowing this earlier I would have opted for the normal gauge Labella's.

I can appreciate them aesthetically and I dig a good rhythm guitar player but guitar solos leave me stone cold.

If you'd like a Warwick, why not try a second hand 'Rockbass' of some variety. Try 'em out in a shop and then go hunting for a used one. The couple I've tried seemed quite light and decent value for money. Although the way Warwick prices are heading ATM, if you save your pennies, you might be able to pick up a posher model quicker than you think.

I don't really know where to go with this. I don't want a row with him about it and I'm not reporting it to ebay because it's not my concern.

Having pointed out a blatant one recently, I'm in two minds about it. Part of me is sad that someone is gonna get ripped off but another part thinks, if you're in the market for an old Fender, you're a fool for not doing your homework and are traditionally parted from your money at some point.

Well... he's replied to my message and is insistent that, "this is the genuine article". Bidding now upto £324.

I've just sent them a message. Hope they take it in the right way.

Didn't think so. The colour of the neck is what I first noticed, it's far too white and new. Then other parts started to look shonky... headstock decal too close to the edge, no skunk stripe, no plug on the headstock at the end of the trussrod. Just the overall new apperarance. Thanks guys. I'm getting good at this. *smug*
