    Thanks. Moving from NJ to Florida. Selling quite a few basses, keeping maybe four. Sure, who knows what will happen in the future, but right now I'm done. Shouldn't have even bought this one, but it's one of twelve and it's their top of the line, so... Just put on a set of GHS black tapewounds, sounds even better.

    Bacchus Woodline-Handcrafted-Flame Tamo-Made In Japan Beautiful piece of wood, very smooth neck, fairly light, impeccable construction, and amazing tone...the turbo switch is such a nice feature. This just might be my last purchase. Why not, no need for another Jazz bass when you buy the best.

    Big Jazz bass fan, I'm talking Squier...I have one of the best, a Crafted In China Classic Vibe. Still, this 40th-Anniversary Jazz came as a bit of a surprise, the satin-finish neck alone made it worth the money.

    I believe they preceded the Vintage Modified basses. Depending on how it plays and sounds, I'm betting it's better than the new Affinity basses. If the price is right, grab it. Looks pretty good!

    I'm no expert, but some Epiphone prices are getting ridiculous. One reason I went with a Thundergun instead of a Thunderbird...the Reverend is expensive, but easily justifiable.

    The 4-string headstock looks better. Seriously, who wants their G&L mistaken for a Fender? Other than that, even the 5-string headstock doesn't come close to these.

    The Dimarzio Relentless Jazz pickups came as a big surprise to me...and I didn't even have the pots changed, though I'm thinking of going with Stellartone. No need for a battery and its complications, either. I see more and more bassists realizing just how good these pickups are.

    Wenge pickguard, control panel, and pickup covers. I really want it, it's here in the US, but I'm worried about the crack at the screw. Wouldn't want it to grow larger.

    I keep finding something I 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘢𝘭𝘧𝘯'𝘡 buy. Sure is tempting, though. I guess I can buy it and sell a few of my Squiers. Bacchus Handmade...they don't get any better!

    True, D'Addario black tapewounds over flatwounds...yes, including TI...with a string mute. The Aphex System electronics do a very good job, too...Aural Exciter and Big-Bottom Sound switched out of phase works for me. (The OP's bass sounds pretty good, though.)
