2.
No good without a price! I may even be interested in this if its reasonably priced
Ditto! What sort of value do you put on it and what sort of things are you interested in re: a trade?
 3. As described above: Pictures below: Comes with the three original, black, fitting screws. Fits Fenders with through body stringing as well as top load... [s]Would also be keen to do some sort of trade for a MXR 288 Octave or Electroharmonix Enigma effects pedal.[/s]
 4. Bought this second-hand about a year ago for messing around with song writing and stuff but hardly ever use it. In perfect working order, very good condition, i would doubt it has ever been gigged, super versatile with built in effects .... you could sell all your geetar effects pedals and buy this with the proceeds!! Pricewise, i would like [s]£170[/s]...£150 for it, which hopefully seems fair? I also have a FBV Shortboard to go with it + ethernet cable. [s]£100[/s]... £90 (Will also work Bass pod etc..) Will split or Deal for[s] £250 [/s]...£230 for the lot?? Happy to meet in the Dorset area for pick up or go halves on courierage.... 13.
Whilst we're on the subject of buying and selling though. I also find it a little sad when people have sold something on here and the price disappears from the "for sale" ad. it's always useful seeing the price for comparison if a similar instrument came up for sale - just as a guide.
+1 to this. Why do people do it? I just can't see the point.
 14. Bought the other half of Chris' Mega-Mesa rig. The Mpulse 600 head. Great bloke to deal with, amp in brilliant condition + helped out with shipping and insurance costs + great price too. Proper Basschat spirited member.. + I am proud to be yet another addition to the "Wall of Shame" !!! TK
 15.
The double bass. Can be used anywhere (doesn't need an amp). Burns longer than an electric bass guitar.
Very good....
 16.
Have you let Stanley Clarke know? Garry
Errrr.....Wow! I know absolutely nowt about the Double Bass but that is Brilliant!! Thanks for sharing.
 17. Great review, thanks for sharing! This Sterling by Musicman range of basses is turning out really good me thinks, FWIW my Ray35 is by far the best 5 string i have ever played or owned.+ Haven't seen a bad review yet. ....Pics..?
 18. Great review, thanks! FWIW I really like the look of them and you can guarantee it is built beautifully cos its a Sandberg and they all are.... So glad you like it, esp the sounds............... I've been feeling guilty for a fortnight now!!!
 19.
NEW BASS DAY! So first impressions are very good. A couple of tweaks here and there to get it to my spec, but nothing at all wrong with it out of the box. I tested it side by side with my double P p/up Road Worn and my Ray34. The 'Berg's P p/up is spot on, add a little bass and treble boost and it's massive, nice. The blended sound is good adding that edge that should help it cut through when needed. The MM p/up soloed doesn't sound like a Ray, more like a steroid driven bridge J, hardly surprising given its positioning. This is not a problem as I already have the Ray for that anyway. The balance on the knee and on the strap is spot on, but the bass is still a very manageable weight, clocking in at 7.5lbs according to the bathroom scales. This only about .75lbs heavier thatn the RW but without any of the head dive and is significantly lighter than the Ray which is a least another 2lbs heavier. Not keen on the stainless steel strings it came fitted with, but they're better than others I've tried, I'll change these to nickles once I decide it's a keeper. Rehearsal Thursday and gig Sunday should determine whether it stays in the stable. Watch this space.
Cool. I genuinely, really hope you get on with it. They are certainly very well put together basses and + 1 about the MM pick up sounding more like a jazz. A review would be nice, if you get chance.
 20.
Bought new 4 months ago from Bass Direct in the very sought after Stealth livery, all black with black hardware. Never gigged, in fact never left the house, but still somehow obtained the obligatory headstock ding. Slight crazing on the paint finish on the back, this was how it was from new but not very noticeable and never bothered me enough to complain under the warranty, (still under warranty of course). You all know how amazing these basses are, very punchy and a wealth of tonal variations especially with the HS. I'll try to take some photos and upload them tomorrow. Paid £1400 for it, looking for around £950.
Munkonthehill.....Where are you????
 21. Oh crap........ Didn't see the "i've bought it" post.....Sorry...... Ignore what i said it will be great (hopefully)
 22.
I always found Sandbergs to sound boring and getting lost in the mix ..... keep the Roadworn, that's a great instrument!
+ 1 to this...sadly... I had one...... for about a week. Thought it sounded good at home, build quality and finish was breathtakingly good. You would think with the MM pup it would cut through really well but not in my experience, probably the worst sounding bass i have played in a band situation. There......that should help...
 23. Flea (Very obvious and probably sad i know but undeniably the truth...) Louis Johnson (The Daddy...nuff said) Nick Fyffe (weirdly i am probably the only bass player in the world who prefers his style to Zenders.... ) Oh yeah and as a 4th choice..... Alain Caron
