5.
I'm going to stick some Nordies in my Sei Jazz in the next few weeks (and get the Barts out - 'not a fan). I was thinking of putting an Audere pre in at the same time - Nordstrand seems to use either an Audere or his own pre (or nothing) to pair with his pickups. Depending on what you're looking for tone-wise, Mike Pope may be worth a look at (and I suspect you'll have some experience here).
We need to discuss this further, this is exactly the route I am going! Out with the barts! Tony
6. Took some more pictures this morning, in natural light
7. More pedals added, new band is making me reconsider my pedal board
8. which Nordy p/ups are you considering, I think there are a few types of dual coils, fat stacks being one? I want to replace my Bart's with Nords once I get some cash Currently have a bart pre which is OK, but have two coil tap switches which I'm always knocking out of position, gonna do away with the CT's I was considering the audere with the 6 way pot Tony
9. Trades considered Looking for EBS multicomp and octave, Dunlop 105q wah T
10. This is now being traded! Thx Tony
11. You are about 3 hours too late with that! I may have considered it but the rattle story is worrying, did you try swapping the speaker position to see if the rattle moved? But now you can't hear it? I'm sure I had the same problem with an EBS 4x10 and it was the speakon cable! T
12. I laughed when I saw this, just been doing a bit of dealing on EBS 4x10's, looks like I got the two I wanted, then along comes another! Great cab at a great price Like busses! T

16.
I've played one of these in PMT in Leeds, it is one of my fave basses I've ever played and it lookes stunning!
Thx for that, yes, nice looking bass, I like, off white / buttercream colours! T
17. Hi How many of you play basses that have different string spacings i.e. 19mm and 17.5mm (or less)? Just curious how you guys find it moving between the two. I had a few Warwicks a few years back, the five string was narrower than the 4 (hence the wide warwick option being available) I found it OK, 4 was easier for slap, but don't do too much of that, but overall not a problem, spoke to someone the other day who really didn't get on with it! Cheers Tony
18. Yummy, yummy, buttercream bump with the cool LTD edition hard case! Tony
19. Played Night and Day Cafe in Manchester last night, first gig with my new band, went well, not many in, Tuesday night at that place is known to be quiet, the crowd changes with the band, we didn't bring anyone down, except my mrs and my daughter, so not many left when we played, a few started drifitng in off the street though. This was what we wanted, first gig for me, so more like a rehersal with PA. Went well, we got a few things to work, guitarist had to kick my arse at the end, was grooving and missed the end, but they carried on until I came back down !!!! Underground Live in Ashton on Saturday night, this is a busy night and we got Aziz Ibrahim (Ian brown / Stone Roses) playing on two songs I am wrecked this morning!! Cheers Tony
