I just bought this to go with it

Lets just say I took advantage of the dodgey $$ and the whole lot arrived just into 4 figures! I'm saying that because I honestly can't remember! It does play sweet, the string spacing takes some getting used too (tight) but very punchy sound, I remember playing a set neck version and that was the same. The action is nice, but the strings are heavier than what I use and the bridge pick up is set too high cautin a little distortion when played hard! I like the way the neck flattens off at the back as you get around the 12th fret, Warwick do better neck thru necks than they do bolt on IMHO! Tony

I felt like a change, not been near a Warwick for a few years, so went down that road, very pleased I did! Got one of those with the fishes on the neck, with 5 of them strings on it Very nice, the big fat string has a very nice sound Tony

someone suggested the tape on the headstock may upset Warwick? I'm pretty certain he no longer has no connection with Warwick, I can check as I do have regular contact with Mr Norton, but I think it's safe to say, that is way back in the day! T

Thanks for the info Ian Thats pretty much what I'm seeing, higher prices than the actual weight would suggest as it is based on the volumetric weight! I just wanted to check, before going ahead Thx Tony

I'm talking $1500 to $2000 basses, one guy got quoted $370 of Fed Ex and $400 off of UPS, USPS owouldn't carry it, just over size in the gig bag, at least thats what they told him! Just wanted to know what services poeple are using from these companies T

Hi I'm sure poeple have been taking advantage of the weak $$ and importing basses from the US, been a while since I've done it, but have done it several times in the past, but what sort of shipping charges are you seeing? BTW, so not to go over old ground, I am well aware of import duty, VAT etc, been stung many times! Tony

Hey thanks Martin, you can see some of my other work as it appears on another forum where they are letting me do a sort of photo-journal kind of thing, that will include the likes of Fightstar, Enter Shikari and Profane to name but a few T

I had problems with mine, large pops and bangs, thought my cones were gonna go into orbit, plus it runs very hot! Took it back, got a refund, they didn't hesitate, left me thinking I wasn't the first (bought from Sound Control) Tony
