  2. Correct, USA FMT deluxe, I owned one of these a while back, nice bass, I've also had a vic bailey 4 which is also a nice bass! Great neck, rosewood with pearl blocks is where it's at for me! Good luck with the sale Tony
  3. I think I may own one of the so called "Daddies" a 5 string Dolphin! Stage 1's are nice, you just gotta try a few, some are better than others, a lot swear by the early ones, they are indeed a good vintage, but there are some gems amongst the later models with most being very good basses. Even with the bolt on of the species, you got to try a few, there is some variation around with the necks and it can make a big difference. I've owned a lot of Warwicks and enjoyed them all, I'm just going thru a J / MM phase now so they ain't floating my boat at the moment! T

  14. A casual conversation with a guy in work yesterday, resulted in him telling me about a jap '75 reissue he'd had since he was at school, said he doesn't play it anymore! He warned me it was a bit battered and brought it in today, not as bad as I expected, a few dinks in the laquer, slightly rusty pole pieces and plenty of ageing on other chrome bits. Probably in the very, very early stages of developing it's own bit of Mojo! Got it home, truss rod needed a bit of tweeking, it's in the process of settling down now, adjusted the action a touch lower and it plays nice. Got a crackly jack socket and the neck pick up won't raise, so a bit more work to do yet! It's maple body, black pick gaurd, rose wood bound fretboard. cool as!!! Happy days! Tony
