1. I know you're an Ashdown man, just throwing the offer out to the masses! It is a great sounding amp, used it in anger on Sunday night, sound sweeeet, but want something more compact and light to go with the Neo cab, none of us are getting any younger T
2. Got Nap' on the case I will drop on this, make me an offer, not a silly offer though! T
3. Which is why I added the comment in my first post....... "Please take the clip in the context it was intended........" T
4. Yeah, I saw that one! Is that recent cos I thought e-basses stopped production a few years back, or are they still aking the odd bass? Tony
5. I'm going the small route, without too many knobs, buttons and slidey things! Looking like a Mark Bass Little mark II! T
6. Red amps are cool! T
7. Check this You Tube clip out, it's a local bass player called Nige Clutterbuck who's been scaring the crap out of normal bass players for a good few years, I'm sure some of you know him! He's also a Rotosound rep' or was? Please take the clip in the context it was intended, a speed slap fest! (gotta say that cos this sort of thing always gets a slating), The guy is a good all round player, who can hold down a groove as well as do his crazy stuff, there is a fairly broad range of techniques featured here Warwick and Mark Bass featured also! 11. I've been running an EBS TD650 for a while now, but I'm thinking of a change! I'll be keeping the EBS 2x12 Neo cab, but looking for a smaller more compact amp, capable of putting around 500w into 4 ohms I've been through a few amps way back, ashdown, TE etc, but now there are a few new brands out there, Markbass, Thunderfunk etc, then there are the old skool SVT3, newer ashdown and TE? Basses are Jazz / MM sort of thing (going through a change with these also!) I'm gonna go out and try a few, but would be good to hear some opinions
12. BUMP £75 posted Tony

Stiff Little fingers are on the road, a good way thru their tour, music of my youf! T
17. The Dolphin V will do the job, narrow string spacing it has, too narrow for me, hence mine being up for sale, not in for a trade on that though! They are a well balanced bass, with a compact body, also worth adding, they can cut through anything any drummer or/and guitarist can throw at ya' Tony
18.
MB1. Back to a Jazz, but made by those nice chaps down in Camden, Sei Bass! probably gonna have me an upright as well, one of those EUB types, me and a guitarist decided it would be cool to do our set on acoustic and upright!! Tony
20. I bought one of the £199 superflys from SC, returned it within a week, squeals and pops, they had no hesitation in doing a refund. It did sound OK when it worked, rana bit hot though! Good luck in getting this sorted Tony
21. To cover the cost of satisfying my GAS, the Dolphin will be priced at £1000. If it doesn't go for that, I'll keep it until the right buyer comes along, in a position to finance my GAS without an imediate sale (...just!) Tony
22. I could also be tempted with a trade on an EUB for the Stage 1!!! That may shock one or two poeple who know me!!! Tony
23. A lot of PM's on these, if you want to talk, call me on 07834452180 Thx Tony
