1. Hi I've got a hectic day today and a guy is interested in buying my Stingray, he's in Portugal, so based on the experience of you guys and to save me some search time, who's the best to get a shipping quote from? Cheers Tony
2. someone suggested the tape on the headstock may upset Warwick? I'm pretty certain he no longer has no connection with Warwick, I can check as I do have regular contact with Mr Norton, but I think it's safe to say, that is way back in the day! T
3. The Jazz is back on the market because I couldn't get down to London in order for someone to check it out, in the meantime, lost a potential sale, just 5 minutes down the road So back up it is The white 'ray is still for sale, someone asked me what the difference between a normal 'ray and this 'ray is Tony
4.
too expensive maybe?
Possibly, Stage 1's have been going on e-bay for around £600, some for even less, maybe it isn't a good time to sell Warwick? T
5. Thanks for the info Ian Thats pretty much what I'm seeing, higher prices than the actual weight would suggest as it is based on the volumetric weight! I just wanted to check, before going ahead Thx Tony
6. I'm talking $1500 to $2000 basses, one guy got quoted $370 of Fed Ex and $400 off of UPS, USPS owouldn't carry it, just over size in the gig bag, at least thats what they told him! Just wanted to know what services poeple are using from these companies T
7. Hi I'm sure poeple have been taking advantage of the weak $$ and importing basses from the US, been a while since I've done it, but have done it several times in the past, but what sort of shipping charges are you seeing? BTW, so not to go over old ground, I am well aware of import duty, VAT etc, been stung many times! Tony
8. Hey thanks Martin, you can see some of my other work as it appears on another forum where they are letting me do a sort of photo-journal kind of thing, that will include the likes of Fightstar, Enter Shikari and Profane to name but a few T
9. I had problems with mine, large pops and bangs, thought my cones were gonna go into orbit, plus it runs very hot! Took it back, got a refund, they didn't hesitate, left me thinking I wasn't the first (bought from Sound Control) Tony
10. I was fortunate to have a photo pass for the Mark Ronson gig in Manchester on Saturday, caught this chap in action, this ain't the best pic' but gives a good view of whats behind him on this tour! Tony
11. It seems I missed some of the important stuff out of the ad! Re: The stingray, condition wise, it's mint, if I were to be really picky I would mention a very small indent on the top half of the back of the neck, between the 4th and 5th fret, it's slighly visible and can be felt with your finger, we're talking mm's here! Then it probably needs a clean with a bit of polish, the white p/up covers are showing dark areas where my fingers have been!! Also it comes with a MM case, and I ain't looked it ot for a while, but I'm sure the ernie ball duster and hang tags are still in there! Cheers Tony

17.
... and you'd get more than £900 on ebay I'm sure. Chris
I think so, as it is a unique bass, but I figured I'd offer it to you nice chaps on here first! I'm selling just because I feel like a change, not commited to anything apart from a non too serious trio, so nows a good time Tony
