  1. No #3 bass because i got only 2 #1 basses. With different tones and different situations.
  2. I wonder that people don't give a d@mn on others peoples 23 years music life.
  3. Hi! It all started in 1999 when i bought used Musima P bass and played it for 2 years. At that time i dreamed for a Fender jazz bass. At 2001 i bought MIM jazz and was happy. Then i started to listen to Jaco and find his tone perfect. Defretted my MIM Fender but didn’t get what i whant. Bought a Jaco artist jazz and was happy with tone, but not in body finish, so i refinished it myself it to black with red rain drops. I was happy but still didn’t got the sound i want. At 2006 I started to follow Gary Willis and found his tone the dream tone i was searching for all my life. Yes, I bought Ibanez GWB1005 and it become my #1bass till Pandemia. After the covid all bands i played just for money (the bands that used to play in small stands – 2 players or full 5 setup) called me to play in need for bass, but they where very intense for fretted bass version and i thought – i have perfect #1fretless GWB1005, why would i not try out fret my Jaco artist jazz bass to have a 2 different types for situations. So i called my luthier, super wise man with basses, to fret my Jaco artist jazz bass. He said – ok. Not cheap – 220e, but it sounds great and feels superb. So i now got two #1 basses. A universal fretted Jaco fretted artist jazz bass and for all other situations Ibanez GWB1005. So what do You think about this jazz bass journey ?
  4. I choose the quality gigs, it helps menthaly.
  5. It's like imitation of Your pickups and let's You play teqniqaly at the place where Your pickups are not installed. It gives Your fingers to not dig too deep at playing over the ramp. Some like it, some hate - who cares. I like it.
  6. I like ramps, too. I got Ibanez GWB1005 originally made allready with a ramp. Very comfortable playing.
  7. It could make some problems at start, but after You will complete Your 4 finger teqnique - it will be pretty ok.
  8. I think the future of the bass could be in pickups.
  9. Just turn Your sound a little bit lower and everything will be ok. And maybe close the windows.
  10. I can't understand what is so important to lead singer help drummer take the drums on stage. Every band i have been played. everybody helped others to reduce the timimg.
  11. Long, long, long, long time ago - before the wind, before the snow. Super !
  12. Hi! Wanted to know what You all think about the best way to train the playing skills on bass. Myself - I mostly train not connected at all, as my instrument Ibanez GWB1005 gives me a good acoustic sound. What do You prefer - not connected, amplified or headphone variant ?
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxOOxLGqVHk Eric Clapton - Alberta
  14. Stereo is ok for me, but i do not denie those who create 5.1 versians. There are a lot of people who are interested and fanatic for 5.1 versians so - let it be and let it go.
  15. They are absolutely 2 different instruments. Only You can choose what type You preffer better.
  16. I meant that sometimes You can practice one thing million times, but still don't get it right.
  17. For me, it is impossible to play normaly with big nails on my #1 Ibanez gwb1005, so i just use small scissors to cut them off.
  18. Take Your current Berlin bass bass with You to UK and then back.
  19. And how much You would be ready to pay for it ?
  20. As i work in a big supermaket with plenty of shops and people walking, the local dj has song program for about 6 hours and he plays it all everyday in random way. Currently i hear a song where the only full sentence is "I ease You masturbate", so i think that's the the song's name. Probably it's a cover, but i hate it, because i have to listen to it at least 2 times at a day, this is the 3.
