I allready have a better liked fretless Ibanez GWB1005, so i had no fretted one I asked my luthier to fret my Jaco and it sounds great. Pickguard screws i made myself (bad or good), but currently i got a pickguard.

I didn't like that finish in reality, because i never seen it and touched it before in reality. Just listened to it carefully and watched in youtube. I liked the sound and as i worked in a music instrument shop i got it at half price. The real finish was far away i thought it will be, so i just did it and that road worn really shown up after 20 years on black marker finish. Maybe it was stupid, but i like it better now, that i got it new.

Relearning, which i knew, but forgot - Marcus Miller - Mr.Pastorius. I am doing it with my fretless.

I took that sunberst finish off with a knife and painted it black that way.

Lidl using fretless basses as ad. - what would be next - Fender P basses?

Aguilar. They give their quality and price range equaly what YOU get. Mostly amplification. Besides, they don't make a hundreds of equal models and write different super stories of each of them.

The one and only post i made was about Aguilar clean vintage sound. Jaybeevee said about colouring his sound.

I have tried a lot, but not equaly as you, but the cleanest and best vintage sound i got was from Aguilar tone hammer series. In my possition i took 500 versian and i am happy and don't think of any changes anymore.

I own and prefer 2 x hd112 better than 212 as i can control the weight of my needs any time. Ohh, i allready explained that before, sorry.

Yes You are right - not all rockstars are pro level musicians, but there are a lot of them who are the biggest pros also.

How can you match a pro builder with a pro musician !! And yes - they are selling their time, because when they become pro, they don't need to think about genres which they will play tomorow and after tomorow. They do it, because they like to play and people who likes to hear them a lot, pays them what they deserve.

A long time ago i left an alternative rock band. where i spen about half year, but had no stress, because i didn't really liked the music and vocal was singing only in russian. In my country it's quite bad for me.

Pro - is always a good cash.
