    Exactly. The list is endless and there is no tp 100 for each. Every one can find the better one or 2nd, but You can find a person and reason what gave YOU the inspiration and joy to play this instrument the way You preffer and sound You like ! This is no list !

    Gary Willis - a lot of years he had opened a new style in fretless bass, also he is a superb teacher, finaly - i like his music a lot.

    You doubt about built in amp or pedal compressor ?

    If the compressor is very important in Your sound, absolutely go for pedal. It will give more options and easier and faster to change options right under Your foot.

    It's ok Your slap - no. You can live without it. I play fretless with a ramp from to my soupbar pickup and have no chance for slap. Actualy i never loved or learned slap.

    Basschat is absolutely cool !! I remember some years at other site "Talkbass" but i was put out from it for too much trolling, but never understood what i did wrong. I think Basschat is better.

    On the other way, people who want to buy a real vintage Fender can mistake, with no licenced papers and serial that doesn't count. So what You choose - sound and roudworn or oficial docs.

    Actually, i am not interested in selling mine as vintage, just want to know when criteria is - vintage.
